yep she died in the accident cuz some kids lit the gunpowder on fire and it exploded so she dies...basically, she was dead wen the manga started
did u notice that nobody actually spoke to her at school except for Yuudai? and Yuudai was surprised wen she appeared with the firecrackers on the morning of his bday cuz he didnt expect to see her. and then there was a flashback wen they were sitting on the bench at the flower festival, it was a flashback of the time wen Yuudai realized he loved Hana, and then she dies (i think). u'll understand it if u read it again
