The mangaka took the easy way out to ensure that Najika and Daichi end up together. Sora's death was useless, IMO. I'm guessing it had to be done because there had to be conflict in this manga, otherwise it'd just be countless cooking contests getting in the way of Najika. But in a way, if Sora didn't die, we would have never met Seiya, who I like better than Sora because he's aggressive, rough, self-centered and not saintly and boring.

i agree with you.with out soras death(which made me cry for 2 hours) we wouldn't have met seiya which means no thinking for us meaning sora would be like"im not ur prince" and then us making us think"daichi is the prince and it will end with najika and daichi"which would SPOIL! the whole thing

i've just finished the chapter 24
and i was like ' whaaaaaaaat '
i didnt expect that to happen i thought he'd be in coma then came back
i felt like crying to tell you the truth ..
BUT i must compelet the manga
i wanna know what will happen to najika !!

I think he died cause of internal bleeding? D: -Idk I agree with you he also didn't look life-threatening injured-
I guess he had to die, or else Najika and Daichi would've never known the truth :/

I mean-- what was the CAUSE of his death? Sure, he got into an accident, but just what part of that made him die? I mean-- he doesn't look like he injured his head that bad. With the fact that he was able to talk with Najika for a pretty long time with that kind of speech. AND if it was because of severe blood loss, couldn't they have transfused blood instead during the long time he was talking with Najika?
