This manga didn't come first. The anime came first, and then the manga was made, so they didn't change anything in the anime... This manga isn't even the same as he anime, this manga is more of a spin-off/alternate universe...

true true... but you know i wouldnt mind if they decided to make nightmare of nunnally and suzaku of the counterattack into an anime.. you know like a seprate branch.) (since they kinda did that with fma you know with brotherhood.. sorta). code geass is well known so its not like it'd hurt
 plus code geass was so short its nice to have an alternate storyline ^.^
