....meet the two kids? I really have no idea how he meets two japanese kids telling him about a tree that moves around the earth. i'm confused

Haruhi (Really Hikaru's) dad worked with Einstein when and after he developed the equation used for the atomic bomb. Both of the kids had seen Einstein crying over the effects that the bomb had, and they also viewed what happened (Nagasaki / Hiroshima); so they went to meet him and share what they had seen. I expect that they had probably gotten in because of the authorization of Haruhi / Hikaru's father. Did I mess up somewhere? If I did, someone correct me!
