It was the first arc in the story that actually seemed to go somewhere. The manga up until that point seemed to just consist of random love/mystery/comedy scenarios with no particular big plot threads at all. There were good aspects to the story before that, for sure, but there was never any sense of anything truly significant going about, more like individual little moments rotating around the "who loves who" premise. The Second Hand of Time arc finally put out something larger and more complex to the manga, a trend that thankfully the following Argentine arc also continued.

I probably could write more, but I'm not really in the mood for going any deeper than this right about now.

it was by far the most interesting chapter though i cried when freedert died but at least she got to see elliot.

yea i liked that chapter also and it was rly touching wen daisuke told her he'll stop crying

Yup. I loved that arc too.

What made this special that it was the first arc that actually gave light to what exactly Dark and Krad are, plus the angst / loneliness of Dark being an artwork who cannot live in the same time as humans no matter how hard he tries to.

Oh, and that Dark x Krad scene during the fight was awesome. Then there's also a major Satoshi x Risa hint there too (:

Call me weirdo, but i fell in love with that arc! its just that... I LOVE SAD YET ROMANTIC AND COOL STUFFS! (same goes with my music), was that the only arc that had meaning to it? Actually, tears filled my eyes when i saw Freedert die, in my mind I was like, NNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I was actually depressed for a couple of days after that arc...

And the Second Hand of Time willing to stay with Freedert to the end. And Niwa's words. "Don't look at my face. I'll cheer up real soon! I'll be smiling real soon!" I love Daisuke and Riku~chan! (I like Dark and Riku, too, really.) Really, I liked the Dark x Riku parts that were thrown in, too. :P I feel for Kael. Kyle. It's so sad! Hehe. I love Ice and Dark. Ice and Snow was nice too.
