Probably you all know Maki switched her drawing style from 'old' to 'modern'
It was a big change, if you look first into volume 1, and then in volume 10.

So I was wondering which drawing style you like the most ^^.
Personally I prefer het old style, because it's more detailed ^^

I definetly prefer her newer style. Basically because her old drawings were tecknically VERY bad, Murakami did mention in an interview that she's never attended a manga school, so I think that must be the reason why the art in the first volumes seems a litlle amateurish. Her profiles were just plain horrible, also the way she drew hair kinda annoyed me.

I love her current style, the one she's using the the newest chapters of Gravi EX. She has become so much better at drawing. I personally started to enjoy the art of Gravitation around volume 7, I think that's where she became good enough to experiment a bit more. xD

I don't like the newer drawings.
Shuichi looks too much like a girl without tits, and not like an actual male.

I love her newer drawing style, its more cleaner and its alot more clear then it was, before i found it every amateurish and quite messy, it kinda put me off at first. I am very glad i stuck with it, i love Gravitation! Oh and they all look a hell lot hotter now lol

It seems alot of people don't like Shuichi's new look though, but i love it, hes so cute now! But i can see why people don't like it, he is alot more feminine then before and i understand alot of people don't like that.

But oh well... i love it!

I wouldn't mind it so much, but just to reiterate: He looks too much like a girl.

I don't see it anymore as Male x Male, just looks like a male and a a girl without boobs. Not to mention he used to actually BE more manly. He didn't cry over EVERY little thing and his actual body frame was that of a young man's, now he looks like a little boy.

Personally I don't like it because it's "kawaii" I like her newer art because it's better. Tecnically and the expressions are way better than her older drawings. And I you read further into Gravitation EX you'll see that Murakami actually has started to draw shuichi older looking again. I too was put off by the fackt that Shuichi had begun shrinking and looked like a fourteen year old around track 70-75, but now I think he looks his proper age.^^

And honestly I love Shuichis girly'ish personality,^^ And he can kick ass if he's motivated, I mean he's not whining like a little girl all the time. xD

I like the new style better.
A LOT better.
At first I was like "eh" about the art, even though I loved the storyline.
Then as she progressed I went into fangirl mode over the art.
xD

Definitely new style. To be honest, the old drawing style made my eyes hurt. A friend of mine, a huge fan of Gravitation, had told me that the style changes in the middle of the series, and I just would have wanted to skip the first half of the whole manga. But meh, gladly there was a lot of humor.

...I just love how hot Hiro and K look in the new style. >8D

Not that I don't like the new art, but the older art made me focus more about the story than OH EM GEE Yuki's sooooooo cute.

Oh, and tarmie, I'll go look into Gravitation EX, sounds interesting.
