I wonder what people expect to happen if the predictions that Kaoru will become the Queen of Catastrophe and Minamoto has to make the decision to eather shoot her or not.

Personally I think Minamoto will shoot, but he will miss intentionally and Kaoru or someone else will injure Minamoto.

I don't think he will. He just can't i mean that is not him. If anything he will die but i don't think she has it in her to kill him...i think(cause i am not up to date right now so i don't know alot) that he will change the future alltogether simply stopping that horrible situation. I think if anyone can save them all it is him.

i think if the situation does occur, minamoto will fire a warning shot, but someone else will be the trigger man that actually hits kaoru.

I think his death will be necessary for future Kaoru to realise that the whole war is pointless. Because when Minanoto showed them what Hyobu did to normals she said that she couldn't be angry about it, which is pretty much the same as saying "Well too bad for thos people but I don't care." If Minamoto gets killed by one of those she considers ally then maybe, the all-out war can be avoided.

These type of mangas are usually happy endings. But if its isn't one where they all get along and no war happens, then probably Minamoto will die. Don't forget, whilst that scene was happening, the americans fired a nuke towards them. Even if he killed her, he'd still be hit by it.

I think that Minamoto will shoot Kaoru but she won't die for the one or other reason (made quite a few scenarios in my head one crazier than the other). I think that after he shoots her and she falls a free sniper esper will kill him or at least wound him lethaly

Please don't flame me for my idea but this is what I am seeing they will hesitate in killing each other will have a much longer conversation and either of the two might happen Kaoru wiil try to save the city from the nuke or perhaps they died as they got caught in the nuclear strike ( provided there are no more civilians in the city )

Personally , for some1 who knows the future , they should be able to prevent it . Let juz make an example . Minamoto sees himself shooting Kaoru in the future . If ( example ) he die before that means the prediction goes wrong . So can juz try his best , change the future and if not possible he can sucide ( again example , plz dun take any offense ) . This is how I wish the story would go , according to the anime ( I didnt read the manga , hope its the same ) , Kaoru saw the normals did something terrible to espers so she follow PANDRA and lead espers to war . Aoi and Shiho is later convince by her to change side when Minamoto went look for her in NY . So I would follow that future . The key point is when the battle is about to start ( since I dun like the prediction part about the world is already at war when he shoot her , cuz even if something happen , hatred between normal and esper will still be there ) , Minamoto confront Kaoru and point his gun at her . She would ask him to shoot as the prediction state ( yes I wan her t know about it ) but he will smile and then try to end his life . This should change the prediction , whether he shoot or not , depends . But that should change Kaoru opinion too .
Sorry abit long but well juz got fire up after the anime series ended so try to write something out .

Well the way the series go it seems that we will exactly see what will happen even though the mangaka may change it anytime. What i prefer to be is that there are 3 turning points that will decide the future. One is the long past "death" of Hyoubou. The second the prediction that minamoto knows. The third i like it to be something like whether kaoru and minamoto end up together ( minamoto will still be a lolicon whether the age of kaoru )
