Normally, I'd be screaming "Lolicon!" at the relationship between Murasaki and Shinkurou. However, I find myself accepting their relationship instead. I am really looking forward to seeing how their relationship grows and evolves. Thoughts anyone?

When I first started watching Kurenai, I actually had no idea that the main pairing would turn out like this, hehe. I was just thinking that it would be a purely platonic relationship between Shinkurou and Murasaki, but I guess that was just me being naive. Here in the manga it's immediately very obvious that the two of them have feelings for one another.
Normally I would stay away from manga that reek of lolicon tendencies, but I couldn't put this one down, either. I greatly enjoyed watching Kurenai the anime so I'll be looking forward to how this manga develops from that point.

Well, Murasaki is pretty mature for her age, and in the best sense. She is trusted to represent the family at important functions and she doesn't show childish jealousy towards the other women. I've no doubt that she is sincere about Kurenai, if less than realistic because of lack of experience.

I think that Kurenai is humoring her. He's not seriously interested in anyone, and he has a strong brotherly affection and desire to protect towards Mu-chan. He knows that her feelings will change with time (probably). She's the Sasami of the manga: If K holds out until she's old enough, the other girls will have something major to worry about.

Besides I believe there is only a 4 yrs difference between the Shinkuro and Murasaki, which isn't to bad. Murasaki's maturity is rare even in mangas let alone real life. I find it refreshing but instead of waiting until she gets older the girls have a good challenge on their hands now. As she gets older she is only going to get better.

It's actually a 9 year difference with Murasaki being 7 and Shinkurou being 16. However, I fully agree that the other girls have a serious challenge on their hands already and if they wait too long she's going to have a monopoly on Shinkurou's feelings. As a side note, I'm totally for Murasaki x Shinkurou

Hmm... 9 yrs? I thought the gap was shorter oh well. I think she might be the best for him anyway. Murasaki & Shinkurou all the way!!

Shin's not a pedophile or a lolicon because he doesn't, as this time of (her) life, have that kind of feeling towards her. She's like a little sister to him.
