Are you even sure that's a proper topic for a thread because it has been created like a billion times before you and you're not stating anything new.

But that doesn't mean the whole project has been dropped, Watase-sensei has stopped publishing up until chapter 32 so the VIZ-media was able to catch and licensed it. Once a manga is licensed, the scanlators have no right to translate it online and the project is dropped. And why should we care? We already have Chapter 32 and that's how far it goes.

I've posted this like 5 times before.

First of all, we all have to respect the mangaka's conditions. After all, she's a human just like us. After Genbu stopped publishing in it's original magazine, it's moving to flowers, Watase-sensei has written in her blog about last month that she will postpone Genbu Kaiden's release to spring 2010 due to her unstable conditions. Her mother has been hospitalized and she is physically damaged after having to draw 3 mangas parrallely (Sakura Gari, Genbu Kaiden, and Arata Kangari). She is under stress for the time being.
It makes me happy to know that Genbu Kaiden is still on the run in her thoughts and that we don't have a closed ending, so it would be appreciated if people stopped making up endings, that is seriously confusing. We know nothing yet nor does Watase-sensei, so it's useless assuming.

She knows about herself more than you do and she has provided us with enough reason (Family first then work) to lessen the weights on her. Even if it was true, it's none of our business, it's not like were paying her or anything...yet. She doesn't owe us, we owe her for making such a splendid story.

Something similar happened to Peach-Pit when one of them was hospitalized and all people wanted was the next update. Sure it's sad if a manga gets slowed down but it's only gone forever if the mangaka dies. (God forbid that happening :x Like Trinity Blood X/) But if one is patient you'll get an update. And I wouldn't worry too much about groups dropping it. I'm sure another group will wind up picking it up anyway. That sometimes does happen, licensing or no. If not, we will just have to be patient and wait for the English releases. (Oh the irony of me saying this because I'm the least patient person I know.)

Besides the fact that this story on hiatus.. it doesn't matter if Shoujomagic dropped it because the last people to release it were DokiDoki-Paradise and Shoujo Crusade.. According to BU Shoujomagic hasn't released a "new" ch since 05.. So do more research before you flip out ^.^
