Been thinking and here are some ideas as to why I feel Kauro will betray everyone. The sad thing is it will 100% certain happen because for the story plot the final event setting has to take place. The change will only happen at the last moment. But in likelyhood their is more to the prediction that is shown, like what is going on behind the scenes.

First Theory: PANDRA gets an ESP with capability of placing some kinda of trap on Minamato so that he will die if Kauro does not obey them. Since Minamato is her weakness its the easiest way to control her.

Second Theory: Hyoubu slightly altering Kauro's thought patterns with subtle changes in order for her to come over to their side. He has messed and healed with her brain a few times before. So it is possible.

Third Theory: Hyoubu dies saving Kauro, Kauro feels guilty and takes over PANDRA.

Fourth Theory: Fuji dies, BABEL does complete 180 now that Fuji is gone and cant stop government from replacing Chief and forcing The Children to do more dangerous missions or even terrorism on other countries for their sake.

Fifth Theory: Kauro's instincts to protect ESPers overcomes everything. She learns the horrors of what Norms have done and can no longer stay by their side.

Sixth Theory: Black Phantom turns out to be Kauro's FATHER!!!!!!! (maybe....)

This just the major ones I can think of for now. But I do wonder what PANDRA stands for.

I could think of it going like esPers Against Normals.... but not sure about last three letters

I'm thinking a mix between third and fifth theory. Kaoru apparently leaves much earlier since Aoi and Shihou say its been a long time since they last saw her, and she's already outgrown her old man pervness. I have a theory that everything goes like the prediction but instead of him killing Kaoru, he refuses and maybe she kills him or something.

What bothers me most is why their is two predictions to the future.

The pending #666 one varies the chances of them becoming either good or evil.

But then their is Igo's 100% accurate prediction.

But it might be possible that the prediction only came about after Igo's prediction because Minamoto effectively changed that 100% accuracy by saving the dolphins life.

Either way I do think Kauro will have to become atleast a Anti-Villian at some point in the future...

I think it will be the fifth and that in the last moment of the prediction it will change and Kaoru will return to being on Babels side.

But I just cant see her as someone who would willingly kill ALL normals as the ideal that PANDRA has. I mean her family is normal, most of her friends are normal, Minamoto is normal.

I just dont see what will push her over the edge, I mean Shio has seen the darkest depths of the human heart and it has never made her think of betraying anyone.

I really think it has to deal with some kinda "trigger" being placed on Minamoto that will force Kauro to play the anti-villian in order to protect Minamoto. Like Minamoto will die i she does not join PANDRA and the only way to save Minamoto is to allow him to kill her so that he atleast can be saved.

I mean Kauro has always been willing to kill for Minamoto as we have all seen.

It occurs to me that the first, ambivalent, prediction applies to all three girls, while the second, certain, prediction applies to Kaoru only. Babel's predictors should really try focusing on the girls as individuals rather than as a team.

Possible trigger might be this upcoming arc. Yuuri might die or something crazy happens idk. I don't see how Kaoru is going to get out of this unscathed emotionally.

The thing that really bothers me is the earrings yuri wants to give to kaoru as a birthday gift they're the same earrings Kaoru is wearing in the prediction could it be possible that Kaoru is under Black Phantom's control while leading PANDRA

If you are talking about how in ONE chapter he was a anti-anti-esper then I remind you that it was mentioned ONCE, only once and never again (along with the anti-esper, only the anti-esper devices remained).

I think by this time we safely ignore that chapter "anti-esper" esper and "anti-anti-esper" esper.

As for betrayal ... considering Kyosuke opinion of Black Phantom I doubt it and also there is the fact Kaoru also made Aoi and Shiho change sides after showing then something, whatever it was it might be related to Black Phantom remains unknown but considering Kyosuke occasional speeches about then it seems they defected because of something that normals did to Espers.
