Can there be TWO favorite characters?
For me, they're gotta be Eshild & Leo. They're the real Romeo & Juliet! I just love it when their story unfolds. On the other hand, I hate Bii because all she does is crying, being sad, feeling sorry for herself, and waiting to be saved instead of trying to learn how to survive on her own. No offense, but... probably I'm just a feminist who doesn't believe in the lame Cinderella story anymore. Girls gotta get up and fight! Like Eshild!

I really like the story of Monica and Chai Ren (Sei's father). It's really touching, and I think they make the best couple.
Can't wait to see Hero become adult hehehe

Totally agree. Their love story is really touching. I cried when I read it. Chai proved his love by laying down his life for Monica, Sei, and future Hezel. Sounds like true love indeed, but I believe true love doesn't have to be proven by having sex before marriage just because the couple love each other. Too bad Monica & Chai did, and Eshild & Leo too

The reality is, once you have sex with someone who is not yet married to you, you will eventually become bored of that person because you've "tasted" each other's everything, and finally, nothing left for both of you to enjoy & be excited about when both of you actually get married. Trust me, I've been there, and the regret outweighs the pleasure I had. I just wish I was wiser

But hey, for the time being, let's just enjoy the story, shall we? Happy reading & posting!

i completely agree...leo and eshild are my favorites, although i've only read up to volume 10 at this point...it takes forever to read

Eshild is a very powerful character. A feminist to some extent, I really admire her, the only major female character that has learned to protect herself. When you read about her, you can really see her personality by the trials that she had to go through. While I like a lot of other characters, she appears more natural and human-like. She had a lot of faults and was essentially an evil character in the beginning, but the problems she had to face made her learn the hard way how to be strong. I feel that the characters that are completely good or completely evil do not add as much drama, as the ones whom we see struggle and face numerous obstacles so that ultimately, they will be changed by them.

my favorite character would have to ren because hes just soooooo cute.. he loved bii so much, he went against so many ppl for her. honestly i think hes really the besst!! i cant belive hes soo old now..

I Like Eshild too much. I admire her love to Leo. Their love 's too beautiful, right? I don't want Eshild to die. I hope the author would let Leo and Eshild be together. I hope they wouldn't have the fate like Bii and Byon.
