This question is mainly for martial artists, but lay people can answer as well.

Kenichi recently delved into the world of fantasy, but for a long time it was grounded in reality, so my question for everyone here is this. At what point in the manga did you say to yourself "Well, that's it. I could not beat Kenichi Shirahama in a fight"?

For me, I think it's right around the time on Furiinji Island... you know, when he beat up a Shark... If not there, then definitely when he beat Hermit (after the latter had kidnapped his sister) I mean... I'm pretty tough... but... a Shark?

he still is not able to surpass me. he would not want to fight a high placed weapon artist who's armor is made to take impact of a war hammer( very heavy) at terminal velocity.( the fastest it can fall on earth) this means even when he hits me i will just be pushed back( and he would have an injured hand). i can't match his speed or strenght but i will outlast him in battle.( we are trained in the art of enduring dammage, deflecting blows and long term fighting( longest battle ever was an amazing 14 hours straight steel on steel combat)) without my armor he would defenitly win( but i don't fight without it)

i do kendo and right now i could probably still be at a point of equality but taking into account this new move if its as good as said id get pwned

ok i don't think any body can win aginset him becuse of is ryusi sikkoken or even fghit on the same lvl but it is posibbol that you cold win befor he lerned is normal shikoken

what do you mean with unexpected?

this armor is a standart for every endurance battler at my lvl.
I tell you all kenichi still has a fear of armed combat, but besides that he would be seen by us( every endurance battler) as a formidable wariror.( his speed is out of the human scale and the same goes for the strenght. the endurance has some leaks)

i just didnt have the words and didnt want to think much, no mean to discredit you. by unexpected i mean he's never fought a guy like you so he has not ran to his master asking for help about a guy with an armor. btw, could he throw you?
about the other guys - right now by what they've said in the manga and with seikuken, kenichi is a little above regular humans.
and by asmaraks logic, do all of you think, that even having similar technique or speed or something of the kind you's be able to beat him taking to account his massive endurance? he is a rock



of course it depends on the kind of fight, i'm talking about a KO fight

he still 1,000,000 years too early to fight me even if he calls his master ill make them bow down to me he needs over 10,000 power to defeat me!!!

P.S.
maybe if he is a Super Saiyan then i would think about a fight with him or if he has that huge Mech in Gurren Lagann , i mean the universe throwing mech in the last episode then i may consider fighting him... -_-

yes, it is possible to trow me( with my armor) but it will take much time thus giving me plenty retaliation time. as for it is how the battle will go dependes on various factors: wich weapons i use, kenichi's fear of the weapons in use, type of terrain we fight on and what moves will be trown in the battle. but it is certain i have a slight advantage.
about his endurance he mostly had to endure blunt force not slash dammage.( its hurts very difrently: punch in the face or knife stab in the face)

the weapons i use (most are used in combination):
swords any kind exept far eastern types)
shield ( guardian shields only)
warhammer ( one-handed types)
knife ( any kind exept far eastern and cutlery)
bow ( long bow and recurve bows)
axe ( double edged two-handed only)
gloves ( sharpend tips, strap-on blades that kind of stuf)
