I am and have been so frusturated at people who dont see the Prince of tennis is just WAYYY better than Eyeshield..better than many mangas matter of fact. BUT the reason why im ranting against Eyeshield (even though i still respect it as a manga) is that many sites i've gone to rate is higher than prince of tennis! Heck, in one site it was higher than prince of tennis by 3 places..and they were rating the best sports anime ever. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? I HAVE MET SOO MUCH P.O.T LOVERS, way more than Eyeshield!

What do you guyz think about this?

hell ya! go P.O.T!!! I lik Eyeshield too, but P.O.T is lik, the BEST sports manga I've ever read!! Eyeshield = wayy inferior~ even the anime's way cooler

i haven't really tried watching eyeshield 21 but i think PRINCE OF TENNIS is way better...

Sorry but PoT is so much worse than Eyeshield 21. Eyeshield has humor mixed into a good storyline with original and fun characters. PoT is rather unoriginal, they're all character types that you have seen in other manga and there is little humor. Another thing I much preferred about Eyeshield was that it was exaggerated but realistic. PoT is complete fantasy.

Don't get me wrong, I read and enjoyed both. They were both fun reads, I'm not saying PoT is bad, I just preferred Eyeshield.

I can't speak about the anime because I haven't seen either, PoT anime may be much better (I have no clue). I've read both manga beginning to end more than once, and that's what I think.

(And you're obviously going to know more PoT fans if you prefer PoT. You're not going to go out of your way to meet Eyeshield 21 fans)

Gotta really agree with you...............

Both are really amazing, but Eyeshield 21 takes the cake.........

I love American Football better than Tennis..........that's probably my main reason

*sigh* This is what I think... I find your comment biased and entirely subjective. Have you already seen the Eyeshield 21 anime/manga yet for you to make such a conclusion? (O_o) If you respect the manga as you say, try looking into it and THEN give your opinion of the series. Give Eyeshield 21 a (fighting) chance before you start dissing it.

I seriously LOLed at this one.

You just hit the nail on the head. I've watched both series, and I think Eyeshield's really good. It has a good plot and storyline, and the main characters are also memorable. Both of them have their own unique qualities that make them stand out as a sports manga.

why argue like this? If u like PoT, then u'll obviously say that its the best, and the same thing goes for Eyeshield 21. So..it just depends on which one u've read and prefer! Although..i really like PoT! But..i cannnot say anything about eyeshield cause ive never read it...

That personal favorites are by opinion...

Not everyone will like the same stuff as you and vice-versa...

I like to write alot of periods....

I like Eyeshield21 more....

Either way, it's personal taste...
