Typically, the guys don't realize that a girl is in love with them mainly due to the fact they are in love with a different girl. Because of that, they wont pay much attention to the other girls.

But is Shiro dense? I would say yes. He isn't romantically interested in any girls (but, perhaps has a sister complex with Murasaki. I say sister, simply because I believe he views her as such), but yet doesn't notice that the girls near his age are in love with him.

that way it takes a while for the story to develop in both characters trying to relay their feelings, if they were not dense then it would just be a typical shojo oneshot.

Very true. I don't know if anyone likes me so i assume they don't. They don't up and confess to him, except murasaki and yuuno so its not really his fault lol. It could be that he enjoys being teased, hes secretly a masochist and likes his harem of forceful girls....
