i don't really understand why people are so quick to think on behalf of miku and not miyu...i don't like either of them nor do i hate them...but it seems like people are seriously hating on miyu because of the things she does and says. do you guys even think of the reasons why she might be doing those things? or saying those things? dude, she's just a human. she's mad at souhei because of the things HE does to her...yeah, it might not seem like he's really doing anything, but to her he is (perhaps not literally...but in terms of what's happening between him and miku...)... it's making her mad even though she doesn't want to be...she knows that he has feelings for miku. maybe not what kind of feelings exactly, but something's there from all of the clues she's getting...yeah, she might seem like a conceited and self centered witch but you gotta look from her point of view also. can't you sympathize with her a little?
sprout is mostly from miku's side of the story...just like all those people who defended her, you should know that emotions are harder to control...and that things might not go the way you want it to be. what if miyu was feeling the same thing? it would hurt! and also, if this story was actually from miyu's side of the story...you might understand her more...and see that she might be like miku. (when u think about it...kind of....)

and here's another thing...the part about her "flirting" with the other guys...souhei came and said to her, "you didn't have to laugh with a guy like that." and " don't let him touch you." she replied by saying "I don't like the sou-chan that says things like that."
....well, she said that because to her, she's only talking with other people normally with no other meaning and then he comes up to her, saying those things...and she gets angry. she knows that souhei's talking to miku in more than just a friendly matter...and she doesn't say those kind of things to him..and here HE is, telling her that he didn't want her talking to other people. more likely, he's jealous...and she felt the same way when HE did the same thing to her...besides...i don't think that her "flirting" with other guys are really intentional...that's just how she is sometimes...between how she feels and how souhei feels, miyu knows that something's going on between him and miku...

of course, it may seem like i'm going over board a little, but since there's a thread on hating miku and not hating her, i thought that it would only be fair to have a thread on not hating miyu since there's one for hating her. do i make sense here?? sometimes i think badly of miyu myself but i'm usually a person who sits on the side lines...so i'm trying to understand her point of view and souhei's and not just miku. sometimes i want to scream at her for her shallowness but i don't....i know i've blabbed on long enough, but i just wanted to get all this out. anyone else feel the same?? and why do their names have to be so similar? i get so confused with their names! i hope i got their names in here right....

Well at least, we will see... Miyu is not useless in this story. I mean she brings some difficulties and she has a sway on souhei, yet I don't like her she seems to be false with her relationships. We just have to wait but I'm pretty sure that there is something wrong with her...

Eh.... well, I wouldn't say I hate Miyu. Hate is a pretty strong word to use. I'm just "annoyed" by Souhei and Miyu both, since they aren't being honest with each-other to begin with.. and I feel as though Miku and Souhei have a better connection. As I read the manga, I found that the reasons that they even date is so shallow that its not even love.. and more along the lines of a closer friendship like Miku had a brother complex.

However, I do have to agree.. people in this world are human. I for one wouldn't like it if someone tried to take my love away. *Speaking from someone who doesn't even have a girlfriend! LOLZ*

well i simply don't like her. i'm not going to lie. lol!!! to me she seems such a fake. like the things that she does is all for show and just to make her look cute. as for Souhei yeah i don't like him either. he's the stupid one in this manga...usually the girls sway on their feelings and tend to linger on and off but it's him. he's a retard. i don't hate Miyu just don't like her. i hope she leaves the manga soon.

In that part of the story (where souhei is trying to save his girl from doing things with other guys) the author wrote it on Souheis' prospective for a reason...(and not Miyus')
Maybe because she wanted to show us that Miyu was some kind of bad influence - if not then the author would've done it on Miyus' prospective showing that she was meanin no harm..
I don't knooow anything about Miyus' feelings or whatever...all i know is that it aint written on the manga>;(

what about the most recent chapter, 24? When Miyu and Souhei are sitting on the bench at the end, Miyu asks Souhei what he said to Miku. He said "Don't cry". From this she figured out that Souhei "will not leave a person in trouble alone". He tries to reason out that he is not that way, but then when she tells him that she is troubled, with the added water-works (aka tears), he feels obliged to help/hug her. Ok, so good for Miyu for finding out what gets Souhei to stay with her. But she is a manipulator! Plus, it seems like when he was about to announce he was going to leave the house, he hesitated to see if Miku was sad or about to cry, there again making sure she wasn't a "person in trouble" over him. I think that if she had gotten emotional again, he would have stayed. This makes me believe that he feels equal pull for Miku as he does for Miyu. The difference is that Miyu will manipulate him to her selfish advantages, while Miku really just wants him to figure it out for himself, which he CANT DO because Miyu is still manipulating his feelings.

And just so you all know, I never really had a problem with Miyu, nor am I a "Miyu hater". Yet she bothered me at the beginning of Sprout because when she broke Miku's teacups, she put on a sad face and let Souhei baby her and deal with it for her. Sure, she bought Miku new cups, and that kind of re compensated for the old fugly ones. Yet I notice now that Miyu's mannerisms are the same. In order to get what she wants out of Souhei, she must manipulate his feelings so that he does what she wants. This does not allow Souhei to reason out for himself what is right and wrong in his heart. I just hope that he can realize this eventually, Because I don't think that his relationship with Miyu is true like this.

Because she is the FREAKING main FREAKING character.
