nah... he's just a bard like a historian who writes down history.
at first i realli want eco to be a girl, but i think a bard suites him too.. i believe romance will burst when belca meets an amontel pretty girl just a theory... |

i think hes gona fall in love with the amontel from chapter four, or with the girl in the shop in chapter four

Didn't Hector say that he wanted to marry an Amontel? Maybe Eco or Belca will fall in love with her. The Madam of the shop might just be a close friend.

I was thinking that female Amontel was the one Hector loved... Anyways, I don't really see Eco falling in love with anyone since his true love is his stories

Eco ain't a girl as far as I can tell...lol. But he is definitely one cool character and used the round about way to try and talk some sense into Belca. Otherwise Belca would have been dead due his naivety.
