I know, there are about 10 different threads all saying the same thing-- that this story is sad, it brings tears to the eyes, makes you bawl for a good ten minutes! IT'S ALL TRUE...... TO AN EXTENT!

But i really want to mention this. This story brought a lump to my throat the size of texas, but it still left me feeling really good by the time i was done reading. The unexpected happens and yes it is sad, but i still think that it's one of the most beautiful books i have ever read(and thats saying something coming from me...im a total book addict manga or otherwise!)

so, for all the people out there who would rather skip reading this because it might make you cry.... don't! READ IT anyways and this will be worth it!

I didn't really find this a sad tale to bemoan, but a really beautiful and inspiring story of love.

PS: don't read the spoilers before reading this story! trust me...you will enjoy this more if you just take it as it comes.

I agree. I usually make an effort to avoid sad stories but I'm truly glad I read this one. So, yes, tears are still rolling down my face and it was difficult to read the story till the end from the blurryness of my vision but I'm smiling. It was a beautiful story, sad, but happy as well. And damn it, I wouldn't mind being able to stop now, I don't want my housemate to see me cry XD
