We don't really know what it is yet. I mean, we know he can burn and boil things, but he can also destroy flesh beyond healing and also bring things back to life, so we don't know exactly what it is yet.

In the manga it was stated that his power is to regenerate and exterminate. His ability to use fire comes from his power to exterminate. Everything Taisuke burns won't be able to regenerate. Furthermore Taisuke is able to use his regeration power to recover and heal his wounds much faster. He can also regenerate other people (like he did with Yuta). Taisuke is just awesome. In my opinion he has the best power. He even caused an eruption.

Hmm. if it is regeneration and extermination. then how did taisuke survive from like... a 10 meter fall from the top of the school building with megu? (btw, this is in the first few chapters where hirose lets taisuke survive afterwards on a whim cause he still admired him and his goal was taking megu with him)
So.... how do u explain that? |

I'm pretty sure that has more to do with him being a comrade than his power. Comrades physical capabilities are far beyond normal humans. He just reacted and landed. As for those who can match them and are normal humans, they just having tons of training. I just thought that might be the next question. But anyway he survived because he is a comrade, both his power and his physical boost stemmed from being a comrade.

Me thinks Uchiha_Raonni should pay more attention. I like to think of it as taisuke having a (+) power while everone else is a (-), i say this because he is a freak among the comrades. Its like his powers where ment to be used against comrades rather then kill normal people
