Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden or Fushigi Yuugi
Which do you like better?
Genbu Kaiden or the Original Series. ++> well for me I like this better. I have been excited on reading this since I saw the 1st manga cover. First I saw the raws of the 1st chapter and immediately lobe when I saw the translated version, I immediately fell in love with it  , it's more romantic than the 1st one, well for me. I want to know what do others like more. tnx.

well i am one of those people who 'judges a book by its cover' so i read mangas based on how good the art is. and Fushigi yuugi was one of Yuu Watase's first works so...the art is a little rough for my tastes but I do like the story. lots of dramam! ^___^. But I like FYGK better b/c of the drawing and I think the romance is lesss cheesy. and Limdo is HOTTTTT! and takiko is pretty and not a complete airhead. a girl who can fight! anyway those are my feelings.

I love Genbu Kaiden more than Fire of Suzaku's Wings...
Same reason as above... Takiko can defend herself unlike Miaka who always say "TAMAHOME!"... <_< The more she wants to save her seishis, the more they are being on a dangerous situation... Well, that's only imo... And I like Uruki more than Tamahome... And yes, the story is less cheesy... <333 yuu for that... XD And every seishi in GK has their own story not like in FSW... So many "and"... >_<

Genbu Kaiden all the way! There's actually a priestess that can defend her and not just stuff her face with food and yell for "Tamahome." Characters in Genbu Kaiden are more entertaining and Rimudo is much better than Tamahome (and hotter too!)

I donīt mind the progress in art from MP to GK.
But i like Takiko a lot more than Miaka.....bcs Takiko is much more mature and not that aithead like Miaka. The whole story is more mature and the love between Takiko and Rimudo also. |

Genbu kaiden is the best. I mean Takiko can protect herself while Miaka is crying like a baby. Not only that in genbu kaiden everyone hates the priestess unlike Miaka who is treated like a princess.

I definitely prefer gk over the other one! Lol gosh miaka and tama n soooo annoying!! Haha i hate miaka because she is so weak and can't even defend herself. Blahhh!!! Got me so mad!!! Lol

But actually its more normal if a girl canīt fight....i have no female friend who make any kind of material art. Its 100% ok for me that Miaka canīt fight. Its enough for me if the girl have a fighting spirit and stands for herself...but i think Miaka depends most on her guardians and begins in the end of FY to mature...
