What do you think about this manga??? May contain spoilers!!!
I know how it ends and in my opinion this manga is not worth the read, if you are bored and have nothing else to read, then ok, but dont expect anything great. Okay, so here are some of the problems;
1. The main girl- She has no personality and very depressing. For a manga to be really good you have got to like the main person. There was nothing that made me like her 2. The main guy 'Maze'- ...what else do i need to say 3. The love square situation- only 2 of them out of the 4 end up happy, like they dont care about the other 2 characters and also leaves you feeling sorry for them at the end, instead of thinking "that was a very good ending" so it feels like the story is incomplete. Well thats what i think, so wot do you think

I think the way this manga started out is good . But the way it resolved is really anti-climax and the ending is rushed, It makes me think of the other manga Love Junky. They are both similar in the ending where the girl chased after the guy, crashed and then stupid happy ending.

to be honest......this manga is sooo depressing.... it's dramatic but it's a little mix of reality check of how often.... you don't really end up with the one you truly love..... anyways....i'm glad that chapter 9 give us that answer that Mase still love her.....and AKi finally confessed to Houjo about her true feelings.
it broke my heart that on the very same day Mase confessed......Aki decided to be with Houjo....gosh....so sad!!!!! it'll even break my heart more if Mase and AKi don't end up together.... this one kind of remind me of 3 years....

Happy Ending but still not Good enough
Well, Ayu Watanabe has a very good drawing skills and I am really impressed the way she arranged her panels and sequencea although the plot was predictable and common.
However, I do not like the way she ended this manga. I think she should expand the story lil bit esp the ending. After reading the ending, i was thinking is she in a hurry or the publisher or editor restricted her manga to only 3 volumes thus squeezing all the cliche methods such as the cycling part and Mase being thrown into her again within seconds. I really think she should draw and add scenes such as Mase apologising to Natsumi when he was getting back with Aki and Aki feeling very very (and i mean very) sorry for what she did to Mase in depth instead of cycling and shouting to come back to her. And also the riding scene, when she tripped and fell, she should draw Mase's face shocked and worried face. Coz he was just staring all the way which is wierd from the back. If you see a girl that you love for 3 years having a bad fall like that, you could have at least worried a bit for her. In the end, Mase just hold hands with Aki. I mean after a bad fall like that how could Aki walked properly. She must be at least injured or something. At least i would prefer Mase to carry her home which I think is better though. It was a very big waste for her to end the manga that way coz like i said. Well, I havent got hold of the Kimi Ga Suki Plus. I do hope it will be a good one to make up for the third volume. Just my personal opinion though. |

I've just reread this manga and for some reason i don't really like it anymore. It's really wierd though becasuase i used to really love this manga. I think the plot is the problem for me. For some reason it just really annoys me.

To be straight, I think the girl is a stupid idiot. Go and date some one out of pity? Then tell the boy she likes that she's in love with someone else. This makes me so angry for no reason at all. I mean, come on, did she seriously think that everything would end well? It takes an idiot to not realize that this is going to end up hurting everyone, not even mention hurting herself the most.
I have not yet read the end but I'm going to bet that she and Mase are going to end up together, it's so predictable. I wished that she could just grow feelings for the other guy and move on. He was like the sweetest guy ever, why can't the girl end up with sweet guy for once? |
