I think that this was one of the worst endings i've ever seen.I have no clue what the mangaka was thinking when they ended this series like that. The story throughout this series was good, but the ending sucked horribly.

Wow. Did none of you people read what I wrote AFTER I said it was the worst ending? I said that the STORY THROUGHOUT the series was good. It must have been one of the most interesting manga's I've ever seen. Yet Noooooooooooo, you people IGNORED that part and are making me into the bad guy here. SERIOUSLY. This is MY OWN OPINION. You guys don't have to get all friggin mad about it. Does my opinion affect your life? No? Then LEAVE ME ALONE.

that was one of the most unexpected endings yes!
but you can't possibly say "one of the worst" after all it was a psychological type and not to mention ichijo ended up originally a twin and decided to do the living for the both of them and not to mention...well i forgot what i was about to say after this point but that does not matter right now.

(i probably wouldn't look back at this one again since i'm now finished)

I loved the ending <3

It was very unexpected, and also pretty confusing, but if you think it through enough you'll understand it. The mangaka is a genius to think of an ending like this.

i really liked the ending, that was a great twist, i really wasn't expecting it at first

I love it so much! Like many others said before, no one could have guessed such an ending.

But I have one question: What would have happend, when mashiro never found his/her true self??? I mean, someday (s)he has to be born. If (s)he had never decided to one gender, would there have been two babies?

I cried my eyes out.

It makes me sad to think that anyone could have missed the point as clearly the person from the first post did.

The author didn't just suddenly concoct an ending.
Obviously this conclusion was the idea that sparked the entire story.

Its one the most original tales I have ever read.

By saying 'worst ending', I will just assume that you had no idea what was going on in the end.
This is a psychological manga, if you took the time to understand the overall point, you'd realize what a beautiful ending it was.

how can you say that? I thought it was one of the most touching, thought-worthy mangas I have EVER read. the ending is beautiful, and it's meant to be like that... because it's open to allow people to think. if you look back at the very very very beginnings of this manga, you'll see that everything is connected. everything. it's so well thought out.

<3 I still have my questions... and doubts... but... I'll leave it like that because I think that's how the mangaka wanted it to be.
