Default Review of "Gokko"

To clarify what "Gokko" actually is, it is really just a simple word for playing pretend.

This manga doesn't seems to clarify things well. We know a few things:

A weird boy comes to the house claiming he's her long lost brother; her mom is his father's mistress...

The girl has two favorite actors as parents, yet we never see them.

The girl and the weird boy play Gokko with chits (sheets of paper with a scenario on it) ; she plays a cat throughout the majority of the very short manga.

These are a few of the things that need clarifying:

She falls head over heels for him and writes "boyfriend/girlfriend," all over the chits.

She tells him she wants to stop playing Gokko.

Although the plotline's semi-unique, I find the majority of it shallow and not very deep, thus earning it the genre Shoujo/Romance/Drama.

This story irritated me thoroughly, but since it was well executed at the end, it only gets a "Read it when you're dead bored," rating.

Ratings:

Read it ASAP = ****
Read it soon = ***
Read it when you're dead bored = **
Burn it like BBQ = *

Christopher Paolini you have to throw rocks at your characters to get a good story flowing. Well, I throw boulders.

LIttle Clarification:
Isn't it the guy that wrote all the boyfriend/girlfirend chits at the end? If you reread it, you get that impression.
And I think it was the guy that told the girl at the end that he wanted to stop playing Gokko.

And just a point:
The boy isn't like some random guy from the street, or some stranger. If he was, it'll be simply weird. It helps a tiny bit that she actually "kinda" knows him; pretty much, he's not just some total stranger.
And is this manga actually done? Well, yeah, it was uploaded almost a year ago, but it's still labelled ongoing...and if you ask me, the ending to chapter 1 doesn't sound like an ending at all...
If it really ended....the ending sucked....horribly
