For people relatively new to the dothack world, I would not suggest reading this to start out. It very much follows .hack//Legend of the Twilight. This manga is about a virtual online MMORPG known as The World.

We are reunited with Haseo and he has become what is known as a PKK or Player Killers Killer. Basically that means he kills Player Killers.

PKs are those players who desire power above all else and will bully others just so that they may be able to lvl up to new heights and become the most powerful in all of The World.

Unfortunately, PKs have become more numerous, and Haseo, although as emo as ever, has made it a duty to prevent the killings of newbies by becoming a PKK.

He gets a message that makes him meet with an old friend (Ovan) that knows about a currently missing friend named Shino, Shino was killed by a certain PK named Tri-Edge, and that caused Shino to never return to the online game of the World.

Haseo ends up meeting with Tri-Edge and tries defeating him, but fails miserably and ends up losing consciousness.

We learn at the end that the player of Shino has lost consciousness for about 6 months due to being defeated by Tri-Edge. This weird phenomenon has been happening around The World. This is obviously weird, and we are lead to believe that perhaps Haseo will play future part in this as a PKK.

Although this manga is put together well, I would've liked to see more explanation on the characters parts.
I didn't figure out what PK meant until the middle of the manga. The art was cleaned up well although the character backgrounds and personalities are weak and fast-paced.

There are more pros than cons in this manga, so I shall give it a "Read it soon."

In //ROOTS, shortly after reaching the end of the FOP, Haseo confronts Harold. After that, Harold gives Haseo his Third form. This is sort of weird though, since he went from his first form and jumped straight into his third form, skipping his second. So if this is true, then at first, was Haseo's Third form really a "normal" job extension, or was it because of Haseo's desire for revenge against Tri-edge, since Harold, I believe, gives the winner what they truly desire, of some sort. Just like with Ovan in the FOP in Vol.3

Quite true. Harold gives the players what they truely desire. Taihaku who was bored and didn't have any real desire, completed the event and got the weapon. Haseo, who wanted more power, went all the way to only find the weapon. Harold asked Haseo a question which, in anger, Haseo gave an undesirable answer, making Harold think that Haseo completed the quest for something else, prompting him to grant Haseo the 3rd Form. When Haseo obtain the 3rd Form, his Avatar was locked and was unable to awaken. Only when Kite, which Haseo thought is Tri-Edge, Data Drains him allowed his PC to reset, thus allowing Skeith to awaken in his 2nd Form.

In the first trailer released on GU, I think there was a presentation of Skeith's first form for Haseo first form

You can take a look at these I have... And just a note... Haseo's avatar appeared in Haseo's 2nd Form. So there is no Skeith in Haseo's 1st Form. Even if he has it, it should look like Skeith the 1st.

It's kinda disappointing that Haseo's first form didn't obtain an avatar in the final version of the game, he only awakened his avatar on his second form

There is one part where Pi and Kuhn took Haseo to a field to try awakening his avatar in 1st Form but was never successful. It was only after when he obtained his 2nd Form and signed up for the Arena battle when his avatar was forcefully awakened.

That is a prototype. They never made that into the game.
