Default Review for ...Curtain

First off, why this manga got into the smut genre, I'll never know. Smut is when the characters are blasted into full frontal view and chances are, they're leaking bodily fluids at the same time.

The only thing close to smutness is at the end after they kiss and our main girl's (Honda-san) love interest (Sawaki-san) says something along the lines of, "Now let's have you take off those beautiful clothes."

What's really bizarre and stupid is the fact that he says this in front of the whole audience during a piano duet of "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star."

Basically what this whole manga is about is about, a girl (Honda-san) going to her piano lesson and finding out that the girl whom of which she was supposed to do a duet with for a piano recital has just broke her wrist. Now, Sawaki-san, another student who can play much MUCH better than her, has just been voted in to play a duet of "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star," because he would be a great stand-in.

He ends up helping her buy a piano for her own use, but she becomes heartsick and won't play it for whatever reason us poor readers shall never know. She is blue and down because although she has had an unrequited love for the piano, she now has an unrequited love for Sawaki.

Aww, so cute. >.>

So, anyways, she ends up playing with him at the performance and everything turns out quite well. Until he asks her to undress that is.

This manga has so many cute romantic things going on it, it's hard to pay attention to the story. Luckily, I was able to discern what rating it should get. It shall get a, "Burn it like BBQ." Why? Because the whole story line was somewhat predictable...until he asked her to take her clothes off. That was the only thing that made me laugh through this entire manga . Which is sad. So it gets a, "Burn it like BBQ."

Read it ASAP = ****
Read it sometime soon = ***
Read it when you're dead bored = **
Burn it like BBQ = *

Christopher Paolini you have to throw rocks at your characters to get a good story flowing. Well, I throw boulders.
