i think its kinda lame how Takeda is able to do Ryuusei Seikuuken or something like that cuz wtf its 1 of the 108 ultimate(?) technique that elder has created and Takeda is able to copy it and i also thought his auto-rhyme or something was also just a rip-off but after reading it another time i dont really think so anymore.
so in my case i think that Takeda able to do Ryuusei Seikuuken is just kinda lame :S Just think about it he just saw it 1 time at the match when Kenichi was fighting Shou and also Takeda never learned the normal Seikuken or was i just paranoid that i never saw his Seikuken? either way i just dont like it Flame me Hate me Disgust me Curse me Kill me i dont care just answer my question if its possible and while i am at it doesn't it feel like that kenichi also can do the Dou style? cuz when hes fighting in the latest chapters his eyes change which made it looks like he is using anger :S or am i just forgetting something? Thank you |

Actually , there was another post some where , by someone who had an actual background in martial arts.He pointed out the fact that takeda has talent , enables him to copy or match Kenichi in certain areas. kenichi cause he lacks talent has to be taught stuff from scratch , where as Takeda is concertinaing only on one marital art , whilst physically behind kenichi , is talented enough to be able to pick up stuff. Kind of like When miu and kenichi were snowboarding , she picked it up straight a way (cause she's talented) , kenichi would have to practice until he became proficient. why would takeda be any different and not be able to pick up something he saw from kenichi?? sorry if i haven't given credit to the owner of that great post!! Everyone has been praising Takeda like hell and putting down Kenichi and its getting to me. Not just in this thread, but in other threads as well. For gods sake, the name of this manga is history's strongest disciple Kenichi not History's strongest disciple Takeda. A lot of people like to mention what Kenichi's masters often quote, that he has no talent. But everyone seems to forget that there was one serious master who thought Kenichi had the (untapped)potential to be strongest in the world, and that person is a member of Yomi as well. i doubt Ogata would have said that unless he saw something special in Kenichi. He was never called talentless by Ogata. That must mean his talent is just latent or something. Im sorry but I just have to protest against those people who are singing praises for Takeda and downing Kenichi. He is the most awesome character in this manga(again, see the name of the manga).

Wow , that's a really great point. I think hes masters do that a lot of the time to just keep him humble and hs feet on the ground. yeah its true Ogata never calls him talentless and would love nothing more than to steal him away.I wouldnt be surprised if they can see same deep potential that he does. |

If Takeda had the Dempsey Roll that would be lame. See Ippo for further information.
What's really lame is Ukita. Hell he's a big guy, so logically he's not going to be as strong as one of the main characters as deemed by Anime Law (exceptions are the masters) but he needs to either find a master and get started on catching up to everyone else or else start getting a lot stronger on his own. |

They say he's using the first level of Ryusei Seikuken, which is matching the opponent's flow. But that's what happens if a fight between experienced fighters. It even says that in the chapter itself, and how dou fighters can feel the opponent's movements, too. I think it might have been either a mistranslation or the mangaka jumping the gun on mentioning that, because when experienced fighters fight, they should be able to read the opponent to know what they're going to do. Stuff like this is also mentioned in other manga, like AIKI.

They said that Takeda acheived that ability through his and his own master's efforts, so is it possilbe that James Shiba could have somehow taught him the Seikuuken? Even though I love Takeda, I agree that they really should praise Kenichi more, it's more amazing how strong he's gotten from the level he came from. Like they've said, Kenichi has absolutely no martial arts talent while Takeda does, and yet Kenichi has become this strong. But it's pretty cool how Takeda's power has grown as well. It's referenced that he's even become stronger than Freya, who was one of Ragnarok's 3 deadly fists, while he was only a foot soldier. But anyway, if Kenichi has the right motivation he could probably beat anyone (excluding the advanced master classes), this story is mainly about Kenichi, therefore he should be the strongest at some point. I still love Takeda though! <3<3

personally when i read the bit where kenichi and takeda were fighting i hated it (takeda stole kenichi moves) because of that bit i now hate takeda. he got saved by kenichi and he wants to steal miu away from him and if that want enough he wanted to steal his moves as well. so to tell you the truth i absolutely hate takeda and he should learn his own moves and not steal kenichi's

In martial arts there is no such thing as "stealing techniques" everything has been copied from something else and have been reformed. That's how things evolve.
Having potential doesn't mean you have talent it just means you are able to be great. Example Rock Lee had no talent but had the potential of being a great ninja. |
