I have always wonder if any person thinks if Gokuu has any romantic feeling towards Chichi?

Personally I dont even imagine how they could have sex being Gokuu so innocent, and throught the series he only shows interest in fighting, showing little regard how Chichi may feel!

I think Goku has romantic feelings towards Chichi. He's a strong guy and I don't think he is just living with her because of being afraid of her xD
Well, having sex is something different, but well Goku's still a man...sry^^

Of course he would say it cause he's already married to her.

I think when he was a child he liked her.

When they were kids, he didn't even know what the difference between boys & girls was, the only thing he knew is that some people had something between their legs, and some people didn't.^^ So of course he didn't like her "like that" back then (he liked her as friend, just as he liked Oolong, Bulma etc)

When they were teenagers and she conffesed, he still didn't like her like that because although he had better understanding of boys and girls, he still din't knew what "liking a girl" or "marrying" was. He proposed because apparently, he had promised her he would, and he's not the kind of guy to go back on his word.

However, as they lived together as couple, and he MATURED somewhat (we can asume that by living with Chichi, he picked up some common sense, at the very least) its obvious he developed feelings for her...although its clear that the one thing his "normal life with his wife and kid" couldn't erase, was his Saiyan need to train/fight and continuously become stronger...so even if he grew to love her, he often placed his training and battles before his family...(hey, that's just how all Saiyans are, its in their BLOOD...be thankful he's no extremist like Vegeta, at least when Goku's with his family, he acts like a hubby and a daddy...unlike Vegeta, who after he finishes being a jerk on the battlefield, goes back to acting like a jerk with his family^^)

Oh, while Vegeta may have been a jerk, he was still a lovable one. Trunks adored him and Bulma never waivered in her affection. Hell she chose him over the psuedo-porn star Yamcha! Thats gotta show something.

And he was a successful jerk on said battlefield. Goku would beat you physically, but Vegeta would destroy you mentally and emotionally as well.
