okay i'm tired and tried reading this manga AND it's so freaking CONFUSING (not to be offending anyone who like this amnga, but it's TRUE)! i mean the art is wonderful, but the story is HORRIBLE! i don't get it and can anyone convince me to read it or at least tell me the story instead so i don't hav to read it and the main boy is lik the meanest DUDE ever!i don't get why she soooooOOO desperate for him! other than that, she's lik doing everything for him and he even don't give a damn!!!gosh she is SOOO stupid! worst storyline EVER!

i'm not trying to offend no one, but so far, this is probably one of the most confusing manga i ever read! i mean like can anyone read this! i'm just going to skim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ermmm... well I admit it is confusing. But once you get to know the story and why the characters act the way they do it's really good. (NONE of Arina Tanemura's characters are bad without a reason, So they almost always get forgiven)
Haine is, I guess, in a way pretty desperate. But she wants to be close to Shizumasa because he was the one who helped her when she was down. He helped her and kinda in way "rescued her from darkness" (Cheesy sounding... XD but that's one of the main theme things in the manga) So when she sees Shizumasa not smiling she wants to return the favor.

As for why Shizumasa acts really mean. It's a HUGE spoiler. But if you want to know...press the button.

Shizumasa is not really Shizumasa. Or he kinda is but he isn't... Wow that's confusing sounding isn't it? Basically. Shizumasa has a TWIN, called Takanari. Takanari is acting as Shizumasa because Shizumasa is sick. Takanari hates Shizumasa. So he tries to hurt Haine so that she will hate Shizumasa. Also, Takanari is the one who wrote the book that Haine loves. But Takanari is seriously nice. He's like one of the kindest people ever. Sometimes it scares me... D8

I think this manga is a really awesome one. (All of Arina Tanemura's are.) Just really confusing. But once you get past that, its really worth reading. It has a wonderful plot, the characters are adorable, and on the plus side Arina-sensei's drawings are wonderfull. So please take the time to read this manga. (and try reading her other mangas~) :DDDDD

ugh ..........its so ruins the story to know who she ends up with to the point it sucks a little to read, especially if ya find it confusing as well you probably won't enjoy it much.

i've read it a couple times now but since im a fan of the characters and a massive fan of the artist i enjoy it so much~

maybe this just isn't your type of manga

i really like this manga.. it seems like you didn't read well....
it is very interesting story afterall,
when you patiently read through the end.
the real beauty of this manga is finding out more facts as you read through.
