i doubt it will be very similar after all Lord of the Flies was genius and the odds of a manga being on par wityh it are next to zero. besides this is way more fantasy.

to a point it can be said to be a re-interpretation of lord of the Flies. while lord of the files was a group of boys this is a mixed group so it will be a more rounded look into the true nature of man. it is a manga that has the potential to become a great character study. one that even surpass it's inspiration. I would should just still reading it because it can be one of those rare mangas that truly expands your horizons. I hope that it helpful.

No...the one with the hobbits and ring is Lord of the Ring. Lord of the flies was about a group of kids who got stranded on an island and end up killing each other for control. There was a lot of crazy stuff happening in that book...shivers.

The Lord Of the Flies is a rather disturbing book by William Golding in the 1950s. It is commonly taught in schools. It is about a group of British schoolboys that get stranded on a island with no other people. They end up going completely crazy and several of them die. It is a allegory for 'Man's essential illness' which is the belief that inside everyone the is 'evil' or has a 'dark spot' and society suppresses that 'evil'. If the society is stripped away then they will act based on their base instinct. It is very well written, if extremely disturbing and creepy.
