Default END!!! Spoiler~~

The story ends at the 10th volume. (It's kind of confusing for me so i'll try to summarize this as well as i can.)

In the dream world, Mashiro gets the key with the help of Kureha and Sou. (Kureha in her shining white armor <3 and Sou as a dog -_-"). During the real world, there was a fire going on. A woman is about to give birth to a pair of twins, a girl and a boy. (The woman looks alot like the nurse so im guessing she probably is). All the dreamers have woken up excepts for Mashiro (who is still in the process of graduating). They pray for Mashiro to finish his graduation before the whole school gets burned down. In the dream world, Mashiro meets the nurse who tells him that he's going to be reincarnated in the "real world". Mashiro fall in the black moon which is actually a hole and you see that his whole body gets rips apart. In the last few pages, Mashiro was reincarnated as a girl who tries to live her life to the fullest for herself and her dead twin brother. Mashiro accidentally meet the reincarnated person of Sou and the last page shows them on the same train. <3 <3 <3

i just luv this story

I wouldn't say they were reincarnated as they never existed as real humans to begin with. That was that the ending revealed. They were born, rather than being alive beforehand. Up until the last chapter you don't realize that the world in which they live in up until that point was not a world in the physical sense. It may have seemed real, very real, but I doubt it was actually life. After all, I'm pretty sure no school exists where the only way you can graduate is by overcoming some sort of issue you have locked up within yourself in a dream world. That certainly couldn't exist in this realistic world.
It’s like the question of what exists before life? People always wonder what is after death, but I thought it was interesting that the author went with what comes before we are born.

Or maybe this is just my weird interpretation of it.

Oh, as for if Sou and Mashiro getting together, well, that is the beauty of the end of this manga. The author lets you decide how everything is going to play out for her.

All in all, I adore psychological manga and this series really worked for me. Very interesting read which makes you contemplate all sorts of questions. That's what I want to get out of a book when I read it; I want to be left with ideas and thoughts that I can interpret, which this manga did successfully for me.

UWAAAAAAAAA.

Totally loved this! Yep. For others, the ending might be hanging. But that's the great aspect of this manga.

YEah!! i've read until the end too and i assume it like what u guys said.. the world they are livin now is not the "real world" after they graduate they will be born to the real "real world". Well from the looks of the ednig it seems that the author trying to say that sou and mashiro ended up togehther again.. since the fate entangled with each other..

Hey If that's the end...I wonder where the people who just fade away go...If graduating means getting born...

I love this kind of manga too.
Such a choice making manga. I wish I could make one too.

I have to agree...i haven't read vol.10 but i wouldn't be surprised if graduation was the proccess of being actually born!Maybe all that is happening is some sort of test to see if somebody is strong enough to deserve being born or something..and if ichigo's nurse was after all his mother it would make sense why kureha was seeing a different nurse(remember?)..like each one's nurse is their mother to be..i'm guessing too much i guess(lolz)..i have to read that volume first!!!I hope it is scanned fast..
