Was Honey dead the whole time? Or did she die because she got hit when saving Yanamani-san(?) I really thought she was alive because it would've been weird for him to turn behind him and call out, "Honey" when taking the picture with Yanamani.

yes, she's dead from the beginning of the story. Honey's father turn behind him and call out "honey" to take photo together because the only one who can see honey is her father.......
