I've had the One Piece forum reported as problematic, so I'll be here watching more closely to assure forum rule violations don't continue.

You all know the rules and know better, so I don't plan on being particularly tolerant.

For members who would like to help, please use this thread to report threads and posts violating the Manga Fox Forum Rules.

You may also report threads that should be merged with one another or deleted here.

I should clarify that, while not in good form, bashing characters from the manga is not prohibited. But bashing other members is.

No Flaming or Trolling
- Flaming means insulting another member, and trolling is posting something with the deliberate intent of provoking flames.

No Offensive Material
- This includes material that is racist, pornographic, etc. Children visit this forum so we do not allow content - textual, graphical, or otherwise - that depicts sexual activity or extreme violence. Keep things PG-13.

Other Languages In The Forum
- English only in the main forums, If you wish to talk to others in a different language take it to spam section and make your own thread. If you use post in another language please translate what you say into English for the rest of us to read.

No Illegal Activity
- This includes requesting/providing copyrighted software, games, movies, etc, and encouraging others to break the law. Do not attempt to pass someone else's work (e.g. graphics or creative writing) off as your own. Rippers will be permanently banned.

No Over-sized Signatures
-Signatures and Avatars: Keep them to a sensible size. Nothing that stretches the forum frame or takes 10 minutes to scroll past. Watch the file size too! Think of the dial-ups ;_;

I've taken care of the double and triple posts. I'm short on time right now but I gonna take a look at the forum later on.

What's the problem with comiccontainer exactly? I don't get what you said.

Edit: Okay I just read it...-_- He'll recieve a ban.

I feel ashamed of not knowing these rules before but find myself guilty of several 2 or 3 posts in a row, and I have often tried to regenerate old posts, which took a long time to find and I thought of doing that in order not to create the same threads.
So I really do wonder why we aren't allowed to post of old threads as you call it Necroing.
Also I wanted to know that if we provide other sites to read mangas or watch animes (which has been done many times) and so on .. is it part of illigal activity rules ??? May I for example put a thread with links of amv's and other things related to One Piece?

The thing with old threads is that you might create a big confusion cause you revived something that is older than half a year (just for example) and just not up-to-date. To name some cases, some people like to revive posts where people complained about chapter order or waiting time for updates. Also posting into dead discussions is more than useless since they are..well dead. Like it's written in the rules, if you have a good reason to revive an old topic you're free to do so in a new and clean thread.

Regarding links to other manga or anime hosting/sharing sites: It's simply not allowed to link since it counts as advertisement. Would you like ads of your competition on your own page?^^ I don't think so.
AnimeEden is actually our sister site which provides anime downloads so your allowed to link to them but no other provider. This doesn't count for fan-made amv's I guess.

Edit: Btw please don't open a chit-chat in here if someone got banned and stuff. I think it's better we keep this thread nice and clean so mods don't need to dive through countless posts until they find the last reported thread <3

As Zeff said, keep this thread free of chatter. Simply use it to report threads and members, and we will reply when we have taken action. Chatting posts will be deleted and repeat offenders banned for spamming.

I personally am always willing to explain rules and their reasoning to people who ask.

Zeff has already gone over some of this, but I'll do a little more.

A lot of people don't know about the multi-quoting function, so no worries that you didn't. Just use it now.

The reason for not reviving threads is because 1. if the topic is dead, people aren't likely interested in it 2. if you wish to post on a certain topic that you think people will now be interested in, they'll be confused by the old original posts and may not even get to your new reply and/or information. It's best to just leave the necro threads in their graves, and start a new topic. Do read the forum though to be sure your topic isn't already covered by another thread, although it seems you already do that if you hunt threads.

Links to AMVs and other sites (that aren't manga hosting sites or those offering downloads) are allowed, but should be posted in Manga Fanatics / Anime Fanatics, and we actually have a forum dedicated to AMVs: the AMV Inferno. So, look around because all of your fanboy needs should be satisfied by the other forums. This one is for discussion of the manga only.
