The Naruto forums are in an abysmal state, and several members have contacted me about the problem.

The section mods and myself will be paying more attention to this forum, and will be punishing rule violations. You all know the rules and know better, and should have more maturity than this, so I don't plan on being at all tolerant.

For members who would like to help, please use this thread to report threads and posts violating the Manga Fox Forum Rules.

You may also report threads that should be merged with one another or deleted here.

I should clarify that, while not in good form, bashing characters from the manga is not prohibited. But bashing other members is.

No Flaming or Trolling
- Flaming means insulting another member, and trolling is posting something with the deliberate intent of provoking flames.

No Offensive Material
- This includes material that is racist, pornographic, etc. Children visit this forum so we do not allow content - textual, graphical, or otherwise - that depicts sexual activity or extreme violence. Keep things PG-13.

Other Languages In The Forum
- English only in the main forums, If you wish to talk to others in a different language take it to spam section and make your own thread. If you use post in another language please translate what you say into English for the rest of us to read.

No Illegal Activity
- This includes requesting/providing copyrighted software, games, movies, etc, and encouraging others to break the law. Do not attempt to pass someone else's work (e.g. graphics or creative writing) off as your own. Rippers will be permanently banned.

No Over-sized Signatures
-Signatures and Avatars: Keep them to a sensible size. Nothing that stretches the forum frame or takes 10 minutes to scroll past. Watch the file size too! Think of the dial-ups ;_;

I think we should actually contribute something when we comment here since this is a moderated thread, so I'll start with Scaryweb. That person constantly creates pointless threads with redundant topics (And I know Wolfy has a rule against this), and he did it some more this week:

I deleted #3 since it obviously needed to go. However, I'll need reasons for deleting the others. They appear to be stupid inquiries about things that are obvious or answered, but you'll have to explain that when you link the threads. For reference, I don't read Naruto, so I won't be able to tell that on my own. Usually judgements are made easy by the repliers to the threads (who indicate the idiocy of posting), but not always. And when reporting threads you think are stupid, you will have to consider: Does most of the forum also think so too? This isn't a "dispose of the threads you don't like" thread, although I would like to delete needless threads and spam.

I know it's not prohibited to bash characters, but when they just bash without giving reasons ... wouldn't that be more like flaming? O.o


And also when someone calls another person's arguments lame, or stupid, or retarded, can we report them too? I just think that's rude in itself but I don't know if it's bad enough to be reported on ... O.o
