I think this would start up more trouble than it would solve. Definitely.

The mods would probably feel a little jilted when a new group of people barges in saying that they'll handle all situations. You know, on a site like Mangafox, with so many active forums, posters, and members, it's impossible to the few mods they have to squash every rumor - and you don't need a specialized "squad" of people to go after them.

The members themselves might feel a little controlled, if not a bit disgusted at the fact that a new group of people claim to be calling themselves "superheroes" of the boards, barging into discussions (no matter how righteous they may be) and trying to solve things.

Honestly, if you don't want to see rumors, and you want to see real change around here, everyone has to pitch in. I know that Zeffie, Tsukiyomi and I regularly try to dissuage anger and smash apart rumors, and there are plenty others that will chime in with their own two cents on it. And of course, everyone should just try not to spread rumors and stop bashing themselves. That's what the pledge was for.

tl;dr: I can see only drama coming out of this (especially with a group whose users are named after Twilight characters. Gack!) and would request that your group stand down, and contact the mod that's usually around here if you think they're not doing an adequate job. And if you do feel the need to step in, don't associate yourself with a certain group, and whatever you do, don't bash back, and try to be as polite as possible.

That's my two cents on the issue. Take it or leave it as you please.

EDIT: "Heyy~ No bashing! That's bad you know, and I don't like it. Try to be nice." <- is not being polite at all. It sounds like one of the evil teachers I had back in middle school...

Oh no, we won't do mod work, if that's what you think it is, it isn't it's just going in and telling people hey just stop but saying it easier or nicer. Kh we'd never take mod's place,we just straighten out rumors saying "Their fake" in an easier way and mostly, when you look at this manga series, the mdos are never on. Like I said we're not taking mods' places were just keeping things in hand while their "Off line". It's hard to explain, but yes we don't want to take mods' places just ease out things while their "gone" we'll probably stop after chap.38 releases more info and just make sure Amuto fans don't bug the Tadamu fan group on CR.

We mods are always glad of the help of members. We just ask that you don't take your help-moderating too far and provoke other members. If necessary, we mods are the ones that should be disliked. We don't want you to bear that burden.

@Phantompaw: Of course you wouldn't TECHNICALLY be moderating, you don't have the access priveledges or tools to be able to do so. However, acting like a mod, telling others what to do, and generally acting a little high-and-mighty isn't the way to solve things. That's what I was trying to get at. In the end, it would just look like a bunch of Twilight/Anime fans were bossing people around (no matter how right or wrong they were).

But let's put that aside. The mods have stepped in and designated this thread for requests for cleanup, etc.

Now let's use this thread for its purpose. I have two requests, one easy and one somewhat "big"(?).

First, could we sticky this topic? It'd be easier to find. Never mind.

Could we also consolidate all pairing threads into one, large pairing thread? For example, combining...
"tadamu vs. amuto"
"Dam It! Just pick Ikuto!!"
"Muhahahahaha Amu And Tadase 4 Eva"
"Don't you get the feeling Tadase is going to stay with amu?"
"Amuto or Tadamu? And if you dont wanna answer that, who's cooler: Ikuto or Tadase?"
"i already got the feeling.."

...into one thread (most likely the Tadamu vs. Amuto thread; it's the most relevant in title and discussion) ?

It's working in GA, so I'm hopeful about this forum too.

I don't want to consolidate all the pairing possibilities into one thread. I want to divide it between the different possibilities, like one thread per pairing preferred. Too much infighting will result if all of the couples' discussion is in one thread. So, if you can indicate which should be grouped, that'd be great.

Three threads would probably be enough:
Tadamu
Amuto
All Other Pairings


would be how I'd group it. However, we'd have to be VERY STRICT about the No Bashing policy within those threads, but I doubt there'd be too much with two threads and all.
