I dont get it at all... i mean he's a loser because he look her back and can't confess his love to her? or what? i dont understand... i tried read repeat severaly time but still i don't get it at all. can someone explain it to me?

His friend is calling him a loser for being so obsessed with a girl, but not going about it in any direct or reasonable fashion.

His intention to catch her attention and have her fall in love with his back view too, and doing all this strongly intentioned stuff behind the scenes could be considered "loserish".

Also it makes a nice circle back to the fact (or at least statement) that she always falls for "losers".

Personally I loved it. So funny!

i totally agree with you goldcat also i liked that he tried to hide his face from her and just show her his back

But I think that is the charm of it, her reaching for the phone but having no definite outcome.

But its very a typical style of Matsumoto's to leave that mystery or so called 'unfinished' type ending, but that is why I lover her work so much I think. I find that kind of thing charming

i just wish the ending finished differently.or maybe more chapters to top it off. do you guys agree?
