Now before I begin, let me say that what I put here does not give 100% chance for NaruHina. All this I found just throws plenty of support torwards them happening. Even things that Kishimoto himself as done shows it very well could happen. Though I reference other Naruto related things such as the anime, games, novels, and other such besides the manga, everything is done for a reason. So, let me get started.

First, I'll start off with the manga. When Hinata is first introduced during the Chunin Exam, it's obvious that Hinata already has some form of affection towards him. Naruto, on the other hand, thinks of her as a timid, shy, gloomy, and weird girl, this is true. But over the course of this one arc, his opinion of her changes dramatically. When they talk at the training ground, he says "But....a person like you....I really like!" Now going by logic, you = her as a person in a sense. If you think about it, there are no other "timid, shy, gloomy, and weird" peolpe in his life.

Also note that durring the fight between Hinata and Neji, Naruto rushes to Hinata's side after it is over. For Hinata, this fight showed that not only can she be a strong person, but she is willing to face death itself to change and get Naruto's attention and respect (maybe even more). Also, when she is being taken to the emergency room, the medic's tell Naruto to move cause he is to focused on Hinata to realize he's in the way.

It is also at this time he swears a [b]Blood Oath[b] to beat Neji and win for her in the next round. During the fight with Neji, Naruto reminds him of his blood oath to win. As the fight happens, it's indicated that Hinata is feeling the hits Naruto is taking on some level and she even coughs up blood when there appears to be no reason to. It could be taken that some kind of bond has formed between them. After the fight is over, Naruto wonders were Hinata is and if she's watching. There's more from manga, but adress it as needed.

Lets take a look at other hints. The way Kishimoto set up Naruto, it is very possible for him to eventually for in love with Hinata. How? Just look at why Naruto liked (or still likes?) Sakura. Sakura wanted aknowledgment, just like Naruto. The same is true for Hinata as she also seeks aknowledgment. So Naruto could fall for her just as easily as he fell for Sakura.

We also know that Naruto wants to love and be loved in return. The fact he has asked Sakura out on many occasions is proof of this. When (not if in my opinion) Hinata confesses her feelings, Naruto, at the very least, will most likely give a romance with her a chance cause she would be the first to tell him what he has wanted to hear his whole life.

One of the themes for Naruto is people accepting other people. Now this dosn't have to mean romance, but one part of the relationship between Naruto and Hinata is the need for acceptence. Naruto wishes to be accepted by the whole village and Hinata wishes to be accepted by Naruto (well, by her clan too but I think she's already got that). Also, it is her wish to be closer to Naruto.

Kishimoto has also been heard to say that he's influnced by the events that occur in the fillers. Also, the very first picture that Kishi did for Hinata to hand in to his bosses is very interesting. Both Naruto and Hinata are in the picture. Hinata is seen wearing a spiral necklace (and the spiral is said to represent Naruto) while Naruto is sitting in the back ground looking towards the sun (a hint that comes from the meaning of Hinata's name: torwards the sun). Granted, I haven't seen any of the concept pics for Sasuke, Sakura, or any of the others, but this does say Kishi was thinking of them even before the series started.

Next, I'll talk about the chapter covers. (I do think they could have meaning torwards the story) The cover for chapter 209 has Hinata standing far away. This could be an indication of how close she is to Naruto in terms of telling him. She still feels far away from him. But, the cover of 297 has a close up of her with sun light shining on her. as well as it saying "Guided by a golden light, she now steps into the sun" Since she's being guided by a golden light, it could be an indirect hint towards Naruto. (with his golden blond hair and she is always following him) Also, the image of Hinata on the cover of 297 is very similar to the Naruto image on the cover of 247, Naruto is posed in the exact same way as Hinata was, looking torwards the sky.

In the anime, when Tsunade is being presented to the village as the 5th, notice how Naruto and Hinata are standing side by side, while Sakura and the other's appear to be behind them. Also, isn't it weird that Hinata was introduced in episode one while Sakura wasn't seen till episode three? Could there be meaning in that? After all, it's possible Kishi might have told the producers some of his plans so they could work towards them in the anime better than he can in the manga. The filler's, though only cannon to the anime and not the manga, still have meaning, if only for the anime.

Kishi has also said that he hopes to add romance in part 2, something he was unable to do in part 1. And the pairing that is to happen needs a lot of work done. Assuming that Naruto is one of the people in the pairing, I can only assume Hinata is the other as Sakura and him really dosn't need any work to happen. And since this is a shounen series, I wouldn't be surprised if Kishi skips over much of the romance for any pairings. In the case of NaruHina, one way to do it would be to have the two of them go on a mission together (preferably, just the two of them) and it would be one that takes some time to complete. So much so that another storyline happens durring it that is the main focus. An example would be Team Hebi fighting 8 tails as the main focus while the Sage training as the secondary focus.

And for the record, what if Kishi decided to pull another sudden revelation like he did with Konohamoru learning the Rasengan, but this one being about Naruto and Hinata.

Well, there are other things to be said, but I've ranted enough for this one. I'll add more if needed. But I'll go out on one last thing. Has anybody else besides me noticed that Shion, the heroine of the fourth movie, looks like a blond haired version of Hinata? The hair style is very close to being the same.

ehh?!?! i always believed that was because her body still wasn't well from fighting neji?.. did she really cough blood whenever naruto was hit?.. hm....

oh and i always believed that there's some kind of bond between naruto and everyone XD

Sorry, I should have explained better. What I meant was that if you go back and check the fight again in either the manga or anime, you'll both see and notice that as the fight between Naruto and Neji progresses, the more injured Naruto is by Neji, the more Hinata's condition starts to effect her, almost as if she herself is feeling the attacks Neji is unleashing on Naruto. And after being hit by the 64 Palms, Naruto starts to cough up blood as does Hinata. For me, this could indicate that there is some special connection there.

And Naruto does have a bond with all his friends, its just different and unique for each one. Naturally, his bond with Sasuke and Sakura are probably the strongest because he has spent the most time with them. Saying that, the bond between him and Hinata is also special in it's own way for their connection is just for them and no other character has that kind of bond. The same with every other character in the series.

In some ways, Asuma and Kurenai could have been part of it. But since we reallydidn't know the full story behind them till after Asuma died, I doubt Kishi was meaning them directly. Besides, the series is about the younger generation surrpassing the old, so any romance would most likely revovle around the younger generation.

If needed, I can give the web site I found all my info on (both what I listed and what I didn't list) so anyone can get there own opinions from the people who got and wrote this information that can explain it better than me.

besides how things look now Should Pain be defeted, Sakura is going to be pre ocupied with her medical duties, which might give Hinata the chance she needs to spend time and talk to Naruto but who knows, only one person does and we are all gonna have to wait it out and see

I know this is a random interjection, and firstly I like to say, yeay for at least giving SOME reason s to why you like NaruHina, but if we're going by what's in the anime filler, in the intros and ending and on the covers ((A.k.a not 'real' evidence)) then Sasuke and Naruto are totally gay for each other and loving it.

I'm sorry. I just don't feel that fillers and covers to manga have any substance to them. But other than that, fair arguments. But I still think that it'll need WAY more development because as it stands, for me, Hinata has (and has had) a HUGE respect for Naruto, which is where her crush developed from. And Naruto needs total change because as it stands Naruto harbors no feelings whatsoever so it seems.

I admit that i am a NaruSaku fan (u probably already know that ) and my point of view is different than yours, but still i think most ppl (i THINK, not SAYING) are a NaruSaku fan, because Naruto has a better chance ending up with Sakura than with Hinata.I have no idea what is going to happen in the end.Maiby it's going to be Hinata or maiby Sakura.Who knows??!!!It's all up to Kishi!!!

First, I want to say that I consider the whole anime itself as a differsnt Naruto series with its own cannon storyline (and I also see it as one big filler as well). I will attempt to explain my meaning.

The anime, though follows the same storyline as the manga, has many alterations done to it to be considered cannon with the manga. And I'm not saying its just because of the fillers (though the fillers are part of the reason. Its because the writer's and producer's (here to be refered to as w/p for the rest of this posting) changed many elements from the original by either adding big to minor events to lengthen the manga cannon's story or removing big to minor moments that were in the manga cannon for some unkown reasons.

First off, in Chapter three of the manga, Sakura's first encounter with Naruto was a "GET OUT OF MY WAY!" (and Naruto didn't even notice her till she yelled at him). Naruto's first comment on Sakura is "she's Sakura, her eyes say everything". Sakura sits besides Sasuke, Sakura has hearts in her eye sockets and has a plan to steal Sasuke's first kiss. In the anime, they rewrote that scene to make Naruto notice Sakura right when she enters the classroom. At the same time, he over looks Hinata (who is looking right at him), Sakura dosn't yell at Naruto nor could she sit by Sasuke, and her plan to steal Sasuke's first kiss was erased from the script. The yelling didn't start till after the "kiss" incident.

Another set of filler scenes for the episode has Naruto being distracted by Sakura's voice durring the glare-contest with Sasuke and Sakura actually being nice to Naruto.

Durring the survival exam (bell test), Remember when Sakura fed Naruto and all the cheesy talk they had before that? It was a FILLER moment, done by watering down Sakura's reactionmto Saskue's food offer to Naruto, resulting in the taking away of the first Team 7 moment from the anime. In the manga and anime, both offered their meals to Naruto, and right when Naruto thanks them both, Kakshi pops out in front of them and tells them they passed. However, the anime chose to make a filler that was pro NaruSaku at the expence of the actual story told in the cannon.

In the Forest of Death, Remeber in the anime, Sasuke was withstanding the pain like a macho until Skura grabbed his hand, which caused him to start letting out his pain? In the manga, Sasuke was screaming his lungs out at full force from the pain the seal caused him. And when Sakura grabbs his hand (interlacing their fingers with a tight grip), he calms down. In other words, a important SasuSaku moment that was watered down and altered for the anime.

And before the Prelim round, Remeber when Sakura expressed her worry for over Sasuke? The anime team took out her crying and tears, simply leaving her watery eyes there.

Prelim round: Remember the the flashback of Hinata "stalking" Naruto? The ones the anti- NH fans use as proof of her being a stalker and doing nothing for him even if she saw him suffering from the beginning? Guess what, that was another filler moment. It's funny how one of the big things that NaruHina haters use to say she dosn't deserve him was just a anime filler moment.

And one final thing. In the manga and after beating Neji, Naruto wonders where Hinata is and if she saw him keep his blood oath vow (and note Hinata is the only character he has ever made a blood oath too). But in the anime, this moment was completely removed, instaed replaced by Naruto cheering and waving at the crowd.

Given this, it safe to assume that the w/p heavily favored NaruSaku for those first three seasons of the series and throwing out many NaruHina and SasySaku moments' But when they started the fourth season, something happened. They did a complete 180 and started putting focus on NaruHina and SasuSaku. The anime original stories had more NaruHina moments than moments with Naruuto and any other character, even Sakura. Why did they suddenly change focus? Could Kishi hace tipped them off to something and they decided to correct certain mistakes they made? Only time will tell.

In closing on this, it's these things that make me see the anime as a seperate cannon series and not to be connected to the manga cannon. Though they more or less follow the same storyline, the fact that Kishimoto has total control over the going on's in the manga (unless his bosses have some say so as well? I don't know how that actually works over there) while the anime, Kishi is more of a consultant in the going ons, leaving the w/p to make the call on things and referencing the manga for the most part, adding/subtratcing/changing what they wish at will.

As far as the chapter covers, this is what I know. Don't forget, Kishi is the one drawing the chapter covers as well as writing the side text (and I find it weird that the US version of the manga has the side text missing). Now, I agree that for the most part, they could mean nothing. But Kishi could be clever and use some of those to hide hints about what he might be thinking on doing in the future. I'd say look back through them and see if there is any past chapter covers that could indicate things we know have happened since that chapter.

After all, many manga-ka (I believe that is the right term for manga writer's/creators) could do things like this to see if any fans can cstch the hints and hidden clues/meanings that they drop us.

Actually I think NAruHina is the most popular pairing in the Narutoverse but SasuNaru is the most active! xDDD
