Ok for people who know Haseo, I heard that the person behind Haseo the avatar is the same person who was Sora(.hack//sign). I head that when he had Sora as a character he fell into a coma, lost his memories and then rejoined the game a couple of years later as the newbie Haseo. I wanna know, if anyone knows if this is true.

Haseo was Sora is Hack//sign, after he absorbed by Skeith and ungone coma.
After Skeith was destroyed and sora was released, he forgotten about playing the game and being sora the pker.
After some years, the game was recreated as The World R2, Haseo rejoined the game though he never remembered playing it.

Back then, In sign, he was only about 10, but he entered an elite school and such, so he's more of an genius, but a brat if you rewatch hack//sign. And this is also why Skeith attached to him because it possessed him before.

Yeah, it's true. There's even a part in the video game where Haseo supposedly talks to 'Sora', or rather another Haseo with inversed colors (black hair, white clothing), who uses the same mannerisms as Sora. That's just before Haseo gets the Xth form, in the game .hack//G.U. Vol.3 REDEMPTION.

Agreed with Sakubo, Sora and Haseo are the same person. Sora had a connection with Skeith back in the day despite being data drained by him. But wait, why was there a connection made when Skeith Data Drained Sora? Ryou (Sora/Haseo) was just like any other character back in the day ya know? Why was it only Sora that Skeith bonded with when others like Orca were Data Drained?

That's not how it works. Sora worked for Morganna....and that musta led Morganna to believing Sora was worthy of Skeith! But Seig never worked for Morganna. But saying that Sora was the first one Data Drained by Skeith, I think thats kinda stupid. In .Hack//Sign you didnt know who Skeith first Data Drained. And there's no way that Skeith, being in the game as long as he was, Data Drained Sora first. As for the connection of Seig, his Avatar was given to him by someone from CC Corp. His character Kuhn was the test subject for Magus, by passing that test he earned a part-time job at CC Corp and became a System Administrator, besides that he was also set to be in Project GU. This, as you can tell, has nothing to do with connections by Data Drained. Morganna made the connection of Skeith to Sora. Thats why Skeith's data was never able to be recovered. To get an Avatar you had to find its data. CC Corp only found Phases 3 (Magus), 4 (Fidchell), and 7 (Tarvos). The others were never recovered, as they had already chosen the PC's that would contain them. Haseo (Sora) held Phase 1 (Skeith) as commanded by Morganna, Shino contained Phase 2 (Innis) but Ovan PK'ed her into a coma and Innis found a new host, Atoli. Phase 5 (Gorre) used Sakubo, a character who had dual personalities, this is what made Sakubo the perfect host. Phase 6 (Macha) was connected to Endrance because of Endrance's close relationship to Macha (Mia) when Endrance played as Elk. Finally, Phase 8 (Corbenik) chose Ovan for unknown reasons, at least by my skepticism thus far.

Un-Social Survivor of World's Nigh Join Date: Apr 2009 Posts: 1	I assume, at least it's safe to say, that Sora was Skeith's first data drain. So if you think about it, using that theory, it sheds some light on why Sora and Skeith connected. Besides Khun's former R:1 PC, Sieg, was also sent into a coma..but it never said what phase data drained him, which could be the reason why Megus connected with him (I'm saying Megus data drained Sieg, thus making the connection to Khun in R:2) Edit: It's kinda reaching, but it makes sense.
