1. Wildcats does not represent Futari Wa Pretty Anon, the group previously scanlating this project. Please read the group's official response.

2. The entire process is illegal because it is copyright infringement, so claiming ownership of anything save one's own translation is ridiculous and legally impossible. I know this to be true after consulting someone who works for a publisher. However, I do understand the desire to be credited, and asked permission for the use of one's scans or translation, etc. and we uphold that respect here at Manga Fox. It is also stupid to claim rights to scanlating a title, especially if you are taking too long to release and another group would like to release more frequently. (That's not the case here, but has been in others.)

3. Not all scanlations are of equal quality, so some have better translations over editing, and some have better editing over translation, and some have better of both. However, if you are merely a reader of scanlations, you'd better not be so ungrateful as to complain, no matter the quality. If it weren't for the hard work of others you wouldn't have anything! If you are a scanlator, I highly doubt you would complain - since you know how hard we work - but if you ever had the desire to do so, you should instead offer to help the studio working on the title.

I want to be nice, but Angelic_sugar_powder, The Futari's scan's are LQ But their translations are RIGHT! You see, I sent the Chap.30 link to my friend Mari, who's Japanese, and she said the Translations are really wrong. Angelic_Sugar_powder, please stop.The Futari wa Pretty anon's are better than you, I don't want to mean, but I also brought the xxcherrystarxx deal to my Grandpa who's a Lawyer and he said, what she was doing was Legal.

I personally am glad I can read the scans no matter what. It's much better than reading it raw, and I'm thankful for it. If the scanlations are semi-accurate, it's good enough for me.

I'm not going to regurgitate everything I said again, but hey, this is a scanlation process, isn't it? If your Grandpa says that xxcherrystarxx was legal, then that means we have every right to continue this project that we had in the first place. I'm sorry if they're on hiatus and can't provide for you.

And we never said that xxcherrystarxx was doing something illegal. Get your facts straight. We plainly said that what she was doing wasn't RIGHT, because she was taking scans that she doesn't own or have permission for. True, they're on the internet for distribution, but there is the moral obligation to follow the rules by the one who was kind enough to post it in the first place. And in this case, xxcherrystarxx didn't. That is why we asked her to stop. I would know - I debate moral obligations frequently.

And yes, I am offended, and so is the rest of the staff. If your friend is so unpleased with the translations, tell her to translate for us or anyone who will provide fast enough in this competitive world. Maybe THEN will she be happy with the translations.

Yeah... it is quite offensive like i dont really cre if they are abit wrong if its close to the point then GOD who cres its better then the raw ones wen i dont even know wat the HELL they r saying and if its Chinese then i have to get my mum or dad to be my personal Translator and believe me they DONT like it so DEAL with it!!!!!!!!!! They're doing their best to provide us with manga so we can enjoy, so in our position we really have no right to be telling them to give it up. "We" being used not because I agree, but because I am included in that, as is everyone reading their scanlation. Did you ever think that they might have changed a few things up so that it makes more sense to an English-speaking audience?? Did you check to see if Pretty Anon's translations are any better?? If you didn't, this discussion ends here.

"This scanlation is made for free, by fans, for fans." We've read it dozens of times over, and because of that statement we are in no position to be criticizing their translations so heavily. They're giving this to us for a grand total of zero dollars and zero cents. What are they getting back?? Nothing. Their time and hard work went into providing this for us, and if all you can do is complain to them that their translations aren't perfect. Pitiful, really. You should be grateful. We're essentially freeloading, and freeloaders can't be picky about the accomadations. We get what we get. We're lucky to be getting anything at all.

We would like to clarify that Wildcats3334 is not part of our community, is not Staff of Futari Wa Pretty Anon, nor does she represent the opinions of the group on a whole, and never has nor will. We have explained the situation to her.

We would also like to clarify Anon Green’s actions. Anon Green is a cleaner we picked up yesterday, January 12th, who has picked up cleaning on 30 and 31 while Anon Black, Anon White, and Anon Gray have been busy at work / finals / classes. As she is a brand-new member, she also does not represent the opinions of the group on a whole, nor does she speak for the group yet. We have also explained the situation to her, and she apologizes for her rash and abrupt actions.

Our official opinion on the matter: While it is true that Angelic Powder & Sugar Powder’s translations may have been off in certain parts, their scans are beautiful - their editing jobs especially (the color pages!). Beggars can’t be choosers, and while we are on hiatus, they have every right to release as many chapters as they would like. The only thing we desire is for faster Shugo Chara chapters to be released to the fans - after all, that’s what scanlation groups are for, right? And if they get it out faster, then it’s better for everyone: the fans, Angelic Powder & Sugar Powder, and even us.

Please forgive Anon Green for any mistakes she has made. We sincerely apologize for any misunderstandings and ‘drama’ that is coming out of this. In the future, any comments not made by official Futari Wa Pretty Anon Staff (Anon Gray or this account, Futari Wa Pretty Anon) should not be attributed to us.

On that note, we are still on hiatus, and will come out of hiatus when we feel we are prepared to take on full-time scanlations once more. Thank you for patience!

thank you for what you said Futari Wa Pretty Anon and yes, i ,like many ppl, agree, including you is tat if they scan and translate faster than all is well

if not...i'd say...to hell(sry for the language) w/ you (referring to evry1 who is offending scanlators like Angelic powder and Sugar powder just because of their translation what so ever which i say are pretty good scans too) cause all of us appreciate faster scans of chapters and if you dont like it then just keep it to yourself cause ur also reading it. plus evry1 else is appreciating the fact that they're trying to speed up the process so evn thou tis is mean...if you dont like it dont read it, if you feel offended by this then deal with it. dont talk up about ppl's scans cause they work hard on these too and if you dont appreciate the work then just dont read it then cause there are LOTS of other ppl tat still read them so one person doesnt rly make a difference althou in reality they say tat one person can but w/e. i dont rly care who has a better scan cause evry1 enjoys it no matter how bad it is (unless it rly sux and in this case i think the scan is awesome) as long as its fast. so if you dont like the translations then dont read it or else deal with it (it harsh but i say tats reality cause nobody cares) just wait for ur friend to send you a translation instead

also i'd like to say tat 15-17 chapters outta 35 chapters (including the extra stories) are from Angelic Powder and Sugar powder so you cant say anything cause most ppl reading on this site just appreciate the fact tat they take time to translate and scan it so yea i dont think you can say anything about them since they contributed about half the chapters on this site of shugo chara

plus who cares if you brought talked to your grandfather lawyer cause he got like NOTHING to do with this

sry if its rly mean but its honestly how i think of how foolish it is for you to think like this so if you dont like, we(other ppl who just enjoy the scans) dont rly care althou because of this thread we'd (or i'd) like to stand up for all the ppl that scan and try hard to translate as fast as they can just so others can enjoy it.
