Next Nakama?
Post your ideas, likes and anticipation of who could be the next new SH crew member and what he will be able to do...

I bet that neither Boa, Buggy, Ace, Jinbei, Perona (or other past characters mentioned). They just got Brook, the crew has been seperated and some conflicts are gonna happen with WB and the WG. So how can they concentrate on trying to get a new crew member, especially that Luffy decides and that he has his mind on saving his big bro. It would be cool if one of the crew member brings another Nakamada (like Ussop bringing the Beetle-guy lol, because Luffy loves beetles, remember when he caught one just before going up to the Skypian island).
So I guess that their next new crew member won't appear till the end of this arc (or at the end of this arc, it would be cool if a strong guy or even Monster from Impel Down joins from helping Luffy). Maybe it will be a mermaid or fishman/woman in the underwater island (it would be useful if someone could breath underwater and all, since everything is on the many things can happen on the sea it would an advantage to have such a person).

But it seems to good too be true, two Shishibukai serving under a new pirate with a small crew. I mean it would be cool, but Luffy says he has too be much stronger than his Nakama's in order to protect them (and from them being shishibukai I am not saying they are stronger than Luffy but that they are around his strength in their own ways). So I will be happy if they join, but I can predict that it won't happen, unless you give me some good points for it too happen.

i think boa hancock should be the next member.
But i highly doubt that. If the goverment knows that shes helping Luffy then they would launch attacks at the island that hancock lives with her sisters.

What i know is that at the beginning of the series Luffy only intended for his MAIN crew to be composed at most of 10 members upon sailing to Grand Line. If a recruitment will happen in this arc i would expect to be the last one. Looking at the writers style to keep balance in his characters, i bet and hope the last member will somewhat be a woman. If it would be possible my hopes are for Hancock or Perona. Too bad Perona`s loyalty is for Moria and Hancock is a Royal Warlord. What i see o this is that main crew recruitment might be on its end but luffy is amassing different factions as allies with his banner group when hes about to tackle on the new generation people at new world, the yonkous or the final battle at raftel island. For me its cool at the end of the journey of the SH crew being supported and escorted to the end by the arabasta army, the skypeans, the galley-la crew and all the big crew that sthe sh had helpen ipon luffy`s coronation as Pirate king
