I guess the 2 main characters became siblings because their parents married. They love each other but they can't be together. I'm assuming that the author was trying to emphazise how we always want what we cannot have. At least that's what I understood.

Uh, as far as I can tell, just a regular story where the parents got married, the new siblings fell in love.
and, since their parent's don't wnat to divorce [as far as I can tell] they new siblings are unable to be together. |

I think it's about, they are both siblings and they love each other but they know that they can never be together how much they want it because they are siblings.
I think the mangaka of this story wanted to make it more realistic and that most of the people want something that or cannot be approved by those around them or that just most of the time people want something that they cannot have. Try to have a bit of a open mind and you will get it.. |
