Sorry in realistic term no this anime is not 100% accurate on body shapes.

But in realistic terms Fighters like Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, and other actual masters in the martial arts do have well built body styles. Most women have tight perky breast and if they were med to big they are quite firm.

This is why Shigure is a weapon master not a hand to hand fighter. It would have been much more of Omake if she was. Poor kenichi would die of nose bleeds in sparring for a missed grab or wrong hit. Yes, Boing! would be a common sparring phrase with blood squirting everywhere.

Sorry if you looking for US sexuality style go watch Family guy or read Marvel. Remember that Japan is a male dominated society and they do not have problems with sexual taboos. Every anime will show the main character involed in a female topless skit usally dipicting a bloody nose from the males. Yes every great anime went there even Naruto, DB, DBZ, etc.... Also manga are different than the animes since it is meant for the teen puberty based personas.

Japanese manga is based on what sells - Fighting, Sexual Situation, Reluctant Heros, Bustie Babes, ocassional henti scene, etc......

Be happy this anime does not have the helpless heroine that is always causing the fights.

If you want closer to Henti versions check out Gantz or Rosario+Vampire. Both are great series but they use what sells manga to 12 - 17 year olds in Japan.

k i just have to correct this: no sexual taboo? remember that the the *`?= and the *&%/ are censored in japan but not in europe or america? and i remember some western comic characters like catwoman, wonder woman and others that were dressed in "showing outfits" (yeah there were panty shots in wonder woman! other examples: barbarella, brabed wire the woman from heavy metal f**k or all girls drawn by *splitter*

OK, OK, I know that it is fan service and that's why almost all the girls have big boobs (and a remarkable behind). However, in my opinion, they are out of the average women's natural proportions(unless some women want a breast surgery). Until now, the biggest ones I have seen until now in this manga are from Chikage's sensei, but my bro said that the problem is that she is too much old.

Please don't misunderstand me, I am not saying that having big boobs is bad, even they sometimes have served for comical relief (eg. seeing Kenichi's nose bleeding, Ma Kensei getting Shigure's kicks and sword slashes, etc).

I respect everyone's opinion, I'm only saying what I have in mind. But I want an answer to my next question:
if they have practiced martial arts or doing a kind of flexibility exercises since childhood, doesn't it have to be the real opposite (to have smaller boobs)?
