the to aru index or this? personally i like this.. mostly because the stoy line is more fun n cute n less complicated. plus i love all d characters here

this goes form her perspective. index form his perspective. they both have deepening plots and tie into each other. this ones a lil funnier cause he like randomly appears like the last chapter and she chases him down. and we get to see life in the academy
i think the best way to read them is like 2 of index then read one chapter of this cause there are references that u wouldnt know unless u reading index too.

i perfer to aru majutsu no index better because it has more actions in my word but To Aru Kagaku no Choudenjibou does has an interesting plot to

I dig this series more since it has more Mikoto and Touma, Not to mention Touma is much more badass in this series.

I personally like this manga more as a side material. In fact, if it wasn't for this manga alone, I might have lost my interest in the series all throughout... but yeah, I got to know Mikoto, Kuroko and even their friends Uiharu and Saten... plus Touma before you know what.

Index's "version" by far. Mikoto's "version" is like a bad cross between 'we're all annoying friends of the main character!' comedy and Metal Gear Solid's 'this is what REALLY goes on in the shadows'. At least Index's story is straight-forward and more about "exception boy and exceptional girl try to live a normal life".

And yes Touma always gets into trouble, but lets face it, thats just to get to the fighting scenes. We all know everyone wants to kidnap/attack/research Touma/Index.
