New Prince of Tennis Manga
I didn't believe this at first, but it does seem that there will be a new Prince of Tennis manga!
According to the December issue of Shueisha's Jump Square magazine, which will be on sale on Nov. 4, Takeshi Konomi will start a new manga series for the Prince of Tennis to be published in the April issue (on sale on March 4). The advertisement given by Jump Square says that everything in POT up to now has been a "prologue" and that a "new legend for Ryoma and the others will begin". Does that mean ALL 42 volumes and 379 chapters were just A PROLOGUE?????!!!!!!!!! And that we're not even in the main story yet??????!!!!!!!!!! EDIT: Just a reminder that the NEW Prince of Tennis Manga is already available here on MF. It's not serialized with Shonen Jump anymore, so it's no longer weekly releases. The new manga is serialized with Jump SQUARE, which is a monthly-released magazine.

Yeah I heard about this, im acutally really excited. But yeah I was thinking the same thing. How the hell can 379 chapters be considered a prologue. Shoot if that's how long the prologue is I don't want to know how long the real story is going to be.

Kya!! I heard this from one of my friends!! But i didnt know it was true!!
Im so happy!! even though those 42 Volumes and 379 Chapters were just the Prologue, im happy that Prince of Tennis isnt finish!! Kya!! I cant wait for it!! Domo Arigatou Gozaimasu Takeshi Konomi-san!! Daisuki!! |

What I want to know is from when the new POT manga will kick off. It ended with Ryoma in America, and either Momo or Kaido is the new captain. So, is it directly after the series or does some time take place after that?
I mean, they were in Junior High in POT, so does the new manga have them in High School or College?? Or maybe they're already in professional tennis because Tezuka said that he was going to train for pro tennis or something like that??

Umm.... The captain of Seigaku Tennis Club is Kaidoh^^ And well i guess Tezuka and the others already graduated but i think its still high school? Middle school i think^^ But im not sure though^^ hehehe.....

Thats good, when I heard prince of tennis was over, I was disappointed. I'm just glad that it's just the beginning of his story.

Eh, well, I'm kinda REALLY excited... PoT is coming back! I don't know what it is about the series, but I really love it! (and it's crazy moves and inui juice and all the teams and [the list goes on...)
Along with the manga, will the anime eventually pick up as well I wonder... but they called that a prologue?! PROLOGUE!!!!!!!!! Seriously ~.~
