Not at all what I expected.
I usually search up shoujo manga and read mainly that because it is what I am most interested in.
I haven't finished reading all the chapters that are currently posted, but already I really enjoy 7 seeds. The story line is well thought out and I wold recommend it to others for sure!

Yeah I agree, I stumbled upon it by accident but OMG it was GREAT.. they have like 3 more volumes out in japanese but no one is translating them... so i think I'm going to start and try my luck at the translating business.... hahaha, granted it will probably take me 10x longer than "aged" translators!!!
 and I'd have to do the editing by myself.... good thing I all ready have all the programs I would need for it tho...

I like it. I fell into it by accident, too... The art style is totally different than what i usually read, but I really like it.

i found this manga by seeing that it got the 2007 shokugan award for the best shojo manga, but when i saw the drawings at first, i was discouraged and it said it was horror, i felt like it might not be good but it is awesome. I feel so sad, i was so sad when fubuki and mistruzu died. This manga is good, it deserved that award

i bought n read this manga coz it was introduced to be awarded shogakukan prize..
its great!!really great!! i cried when fubuki n mitsuru died... i think this is the best manga ive read... it makes me think more about life...about ppl..about love..

Maybe you should consider reading Basara and Chicago, which done by the same author Tamura Yumi, they have the same style with 7 seeds in my opinion, but about totally different subject though. I actually want to find something similar to 7 seeds too.

I find it interesting that this type of story is even a manga, because to me it reads more like a science fiction story that I am used to reading that was written in the early 80s-90s. If you like reading I would search for stories about people stranded on alien planets, or early civilizations. I once read a book that was like this, where it went through several times in human history where there was a cataclysmic event and the humans were only survivors and had to find out how to survive on their own.
