Woulda been funny if Ranma was the one who beat up the pig and that chick fell for him instead. He would have had a 5th/6th bitch to string around.

But the plot was actually better the way it worked out.So many possibilities with Ryogo which wouldn't have worked with Ranma.

It would have been very annoying if she fell for him.. I'm very glad it was Ryoga! Lol

I just finished the entire manga last night It was awesome! =D (and no I didn't read the whole thing in one day xD Talk about impossible! xP)

that why it was so funny; it's very possible if ranma fought it first ranma would of won and she would be chasing ranma. the fact that ryoga beats her giant sumo pig first (he make ranma lose) and now she in love with him (even though she just met him) is funny. i get the feeling that ryoga only dating her because he knows he can't have akane.

That's a horrible way to look at Ryoga and Akari's relationship! They need each other! If Rumiko Takahashi hadn't of put her in, it would have been harder for the manga to end!

i think it's more like ryoga likes akari because she said she loved him and continued to be nice to him, even in his pig form. the reason he fell for akane in the first place was because she was being nice to him when he was a pig. and since akari loves pigs, they're perfect for each other
