i would like to know what happens in the rest of the "game" i never played it but i played all of the .hack//GU games.

I would as well being i never really got to play through the games except at a friend's(i had a GameCube rather than a PS2, pity me) but it doesnt seem like any1 of the mangas have been posted in a while

There are a few ways to get the story. I recomend the novels 'Another Birth', told from Black Rose's perspective, since it's pretty much the same story as the video games, just from another point of view.

The actual video games are hard to find... Since they're old. Pretty cruddy graphics too, especially if you've already played GU. It's hard leveling up, and the fighting gets repetitive... But the gameplay is more funthat GU (besides the fact that there aren't any avatar battles), and it's more challenging. I guess it has it's up and downs.

Point being, the game may not be worth the trouble of finding if you can get the story elsewhere.

I looked for a week or two before actually finding all of the games, used and pretty cheap.
One of the gamestops near me had all four of the old ones, and both of the G.U. games.
I only bought the first, which I'm working on finishing (darn you, virus cores), but I'm gonna buy the rest pretty soon c:.

Anyways, I'd say to just hunt for the game. It's really good once you play it (though it does need more Bear in it ;___; ).
Other than that, idk :c. Sorry I'm not that much of a help.

Alright, so...here's a chopped version of the story...try following along...

The first is .hack//AI buster, a novel telling the story of Albireo and a prototype of Arua,, Lycoris, and of how Orca and Balmung defeated "The One Sin" and became the Descendants of Fianna.

Hm... .hack//AI buster 2 was a couple stories that involved the characters of AI Buster and Legend of the Twilight Bracelet

.hack//Sign, an anime series surrounding the character Tsukasa and how he couldnt log out of The World, this was the begining of the issues of the good and evil programming inside the world.

.hack//Zero i think described how sora(a twinblade pk[playerkiller] from the .hack//sign series)

.hack is basically the main series, story of the .hackers, Kite and BlackRose, and their journey to find the cause of the comatose victims.

.hack//Another Birth is just a book series from BlackRose's point of view.

.hack//Liminality is an anime series that shows some of the chaos happening in the real world, it's kinda pointless unless youre a major fan.

.hack//Legend of the Twilight is a series following the player characters Shugo and Rena, winning legendary .hackers Kite and BlackRose Aura created, no real conflict or resolution other than a 'happy ending'
