With the coming of a new Pokemon game, I usually plan out a new Competitive Battling team for use, very seldom do I keep any of my old team. Sadly, I'm FORCED to make a new team for HGSS, as I'd lost my Platinum a couple months ago...

Anyways, with HGSS, lotsa Pokemon get new moves through Breeding (E.g. Aqua Jet Feraligatr, Head Smash Aggron) as well as through the Frontier Tutors (E.g. Brave Bird Honchkrow, Pain Split Forretress), some even getting them for the heck of it (Extremespeed Dragonite)! I was wondering whether any of you will be planning a new team for HGSS?

I was also asking if your gonna give em' any of the new Tutor moves? The moves are: Super Fang, Pain Split, String Shot (why the heck would someone give 48 BP for this!?), Tail Wind, Gravity, Worry Seed, Magic Coat, Role Play, Heal Bell, Low Kick, Sky Attack, Block, Bug Bite, Defog, and Headbutt.

Typhlosion, Pikachu, Gyarados (Yes, the red one), Espeon, Skarmory (from egg of Platinum), Tangrowth.

Pidgeot(gonna teach him Sky attack)

Nidoking(Thinking if I should teach him super fang)

ONce i find my Platinum, i will bring in my awesome Scizor and Empoleon, but I haven't really imagined my competitive battling team yet, except for Skarmory, I've never really enjoyed them and I think Jhoto is the best place to start

Oh, I shall be ressurecting my previous team from it's long and dormant sleep. As for moves, I have no idea because I usually plan as I go (That's how I get my best fighters) but my Pokemon shall be...

Typhlosion
Gyrados (I freaking love it's shiny form, so it's great for me!)
Raichu
Umbreon
Steelix
Dragonite

Mind you, if I run into a Pokemon early on that I train well, it will become back-up... I train around 13 Pokemon for a team so I can switch them in and out and that way everything is far easier, expecially gyms.

I haven't decided moves yet but so far I've decided to have:
Totodile
Charizard
Torterra
Weavile
Gallade
Ampharos

Since I have all of these Pokèmon already on Platinum I'm gonna trade over some eggs from that game so I can train the ones I want from the beginning (I hate training new Pokèmon late in the game XD)
Totodile is going to be the starter though, and I planned to catch a Mareep, just to have SOME actually originating from the same game
