Since Soul is a Death Scythe and Kid is a Shinigami, it's possible (unless i missed something).

I don't think so, he wouldn't be symmetrical with Soul. But he would Tsubsaki's chain scythe mode.

You probably been when Kid succeeds his farther as the next Shingigami, probably not. Kid has stated that he wants to make his own death Scythe to use so Kid will probably only ever use Liz and Patty, which would men he would only use other death scythes if he really had to.

it kills me to say this, but when Death the Kid becomes the next shinigami, I think he's going to have to give up his whole symmetrical obsession to an extent. Because that's a pretty big weakness to have. What'll happen if the guy who happens to be attacking the city is symmetrical and their only hope, Kid, can't fight it because he has this weird phobia.

I agree with Penguin in that Kid needs to deal with his disorder before becoming a full fledged shinigami. But, the only way he'll ever get over it (even a little) is if he gets professional help.
