I read the chapter 712 about the start of the new Kaito KID case and I start to believe that KID had turned his game on. Each time he try to steal something from Suzuki Jirokichi, Conan (Shinichi Kudo) is here to stop him every time.

If you check the letter extra notes (P.S):

This time, we're done with the child's play. We shall do battle as adults.

Those words were not for Suzuki Jirokichi but for Conan as Shinichi Kudo. This time, he won't hold back even if he is in the way. Look like this case will be very interesting.

Nope, and far from it. Kaito isn't the type who would deliberately hurt somebody. I'm gonna think that an outsider tasered Shinichi, not Kid.

OMD! No way would KID do that hes too... kind to do that to an elementary student. But that smirk... it did look like KID's trademark smirk. So i don't really know... but i hope that it isn't KID, nor do i hope that it isn't someone who hates Kudou Shinichi and found out that Conan is Kudou Shinichi.

Duh. I thought it's a fake at first but that *creepy* grin made me think otherwise. It's kid's trademark grin, isn't it? but a lot of people can grin that way, too... I'm confused!!!

NO! KID's definitely there, no doubt, but:
1.) Kirin's horn is way too small to be something KID would target (whatever houses the Pandora Gem has to be rather large, as the whole thing is a doublet).
2.) KID loves doing battle with Conan, therefore it's illogical that he'd knock Conan out this early in the battle.
3.) Though KID does knock out his opponents, he generally uses gas. It's simple, effective, and painless, KID doesn't inflict physical pain (unless someone's trying to inflict pain on him). A taser, however, is quite painful (and that's experience talking), and very un-KID.

In this case, somebody figured out the meaning behind the etching on the puzzle and used that to steal the horn (this is Samizu Kichiemon's work we're talking about, the etching doesn't mean "Change your attitude and get some partners" there's another meaning).

Kaito KID is not here but someone else. My bet is the Suzukis organization doing. I am 100% sure about this. For Kaito KID, I guess he is or not for two reasons.

1. He might get a cold or something?

If you check page 6 of file 712, they says that a young boy was going to be the soundman for the TV reporter team. But, they say that boy was not here and they were force to call a replacement. That odd?

2. He changes his plans and disguises himself in to something else because he knew something?

One thing for sure, those special policemen are not normal. You could bet on that.

Now I come to think of it, the notice that KID sent, it's not exactly a riddle, isn't it? Usually kid sent a riddle. And the words... One who desires to find kirin without depending on the correct way must devote themselves to changing, I suppose it's got something to do with the heist. Samizu Kichiemon

Say, do you think this has anything to do with kid's appearance on vol. 46 chapter 7? The inscription on the stone there is by Samizu Kichiemon, too.
