Well, to start off, I hate the way she cries all over the place while the others fight. You know? She's the type that whenever things get desperate they can' even do anyhing without their "knight in shining armor" and start demanding this and that. *coughSakuracough*

URGHH!! I hope Hoshino doesn't end the story with Lenalee and Allen ending up together! Why can't she be like Road? You know, not the sadistic side of Road but... I can't explain it but Road's character seems more likable that Lenalee's. To me anyway.

And...Well she cares too much! It's annoying. She cries about every little thing, and have you noticed how EVERY guy seems to just like her?!

I really think she is. The six telltale signs of a Mary Sue:

1. Appears in practically every episode.
2. most of the good guys think she's the hottest girl they've ever seen.
3. most of the bad guys think she's the hottest girl they've ever seen. (I mean... it's one thing if the good guys like her, but it's just stupid when the bad guys do too.)
4. Power that seems to come out of nowhere when it didn't exist before.
5. Having to be saved every 5 seconds.
6. A past that's over-tragic.

And I think they all apply to her. HAR HAR!!

Agree . I hate her , she beated an Akuma level 3 , that was good but after that , she can't even walk and pretend like she's brave , but cries about everything

And when the Akuma lvl 4 appears , she told Komui that she has to fight the Akuma 'cause she's an exorcist and Komui locked her up in the room , then the Leverrie came and asked "Lenalee Lee . You are an exorcist , right ? Come with me" and why didn't she follow him immediately if she REALLY want to fight ? to je kurva tyvole ...

I really don't like her, but don't hate her at the same time. She's definitely shown character development throughout the chapters, though to me, it really doesn't help her be less annoying. I'm pretty picky on accepting female characters since manga can be notorious for making girls damsels-in-distress and that REALLY makes me mad. She was alright in the beginning since she could fight, but during the Edo and Noah's Ark parts, she got on my nerves pretty bad, and the fact that "all" she was able to do was yell and cry bugged me even worse.

However, I think the mangaka did pretty good in making Lenalee "human and realistic" by giving her insecurities during the periods where she couldn't fight, kinda like how the fanbook said (not exactly how it was wrote): "Despite being an exorcist she is still a teenage girl." So yeah.

The fact that she gets special treatement JUST for being a girl really bugs the crap out of me too. I'm all for guys showing women respect, especially in manga, but to the point that Allen, Lavi and some others do, it's just a severe turn off and makes me frown. Another thing is that everyone thinks she's attractive, true, she is pretty... but COME.ON. *shakes head*

So, in the end, she's on pretty good terms with me since there are girl characters who I DESPISE with every fiber in my body because all they're capable of doing is sitting there looking beat up, crying and not able to help themselves out of bad situations.

*leh sigh* I'm hoping that in upcoming chapters she'll be doing more.

Like most of you guys, I thought she was pretty cool until she lost her Innocence. In the beginning, I was like, "Finally, a girl who can stand up for herself!" (Even though she's different from most girls because she has a supernatural power, I still thought she was a strong person.) When she lost her power, all she did was cry and cry and that pissed me off. I don't like how everyone seems to be infatuated with her---yes, even the villains. Is she really that dazzlingly pretty? I don't think so, especially after she lost her long hair. She's turned into somewhat of a Mary-Sue, and that irks me. <.<
Oh, HELL NO! I DO NOT want Allen to end up with Lenalee. God knows what I might break. AllenxRoad FTW! Personally, I like Road more than Lenalee now...
The mangaka is a girl, right? I guess that's probably why she spoils Lenalee to an extent. She's one of the few girl characters in the manga, but she's the main one. Ugh.

Many people have their own opinions on who they hate and love. And excuse me, you sound like more of a fangirl than any of us in here.

No, we aren't jealous of her. Why should we be? Who I'm jealous with is Road. Please, even without seeing Road's past I'm pretty sure she's one of the rare female characters that I'm in love with. And not all girls are cry-babies. PLEASE.

And no i am not jealous of that lenalee dont make false accusations. I have a whole lot of reason to hate her. And yeah, shes a girl, so? I know a lot of girls who never cried once in the entire manga. Like
Fou, Yuuki(vampire Knight), Road, never cried.(you have to excuse the time Road cried when Skin died, she cried unintentionally) What excuse does Lenalee have? Yes, some manga girls do cry but Lenalee is like, GAH!!! She cries when Krory died, she cries when Kanda died, she cries when she saw Leverrier, she cries when Lavi died, she cries when Lavi got revived. And dont put her sad, terrible past with it. A lot of people in this manga have sad pasts and I'm pretty sure they dont act all emotional and helpless. Lenalee has no excuse even if shes a girl.
Not only do we have to deal with her crying, she also has to drag every one down with her too.
And I dont really care who she ends up with, but seriously, DOES EVERY ******* BOY IN THE MANGA HAVE TO SUCK UP TO HER!?!?!?
she even got kanda to call her a strong woman. That is low.
