Hmm... I was reading La Corda D'Oro the other day, and I saw many similarities...
Like the characters:

Kahoko Hino- Haruhi Fujioka(although the personality doesn't fit, it has that whole "male harem" thing going on)

Ryoutarou Tsuchiura=Takashi Morinozuka Hmmm... I'm thinking maybe Mori? Although Ryoutaro isn't quiet he is big and kind

Len Tsukimori=Kyoya Ootori+Tamaki Suoh(Kyoya Ootori 80%, Tamaki Suoh 20%)I'm thinking Kyoya because of their personalities...The looks? Tamaki

Kazuki Hihara- =Hikaru+Hunny!(70% Hikaru, 30% Hunny) DEFINITELY! I LOVE HOW HE'S so innocent and they both play basket-ball~ They look alike too I guess... But the "sweets" part fits Hunny...

Azuma Yunoki= Kyoya Ootori+Tamaki Suoh(85% Tamaki, 20% Kyoya)DEFINITELY~ The personality, the pretty-boy style, very charming... And guess what, his Grandma hates him too~(Well exactly hate, but his Grandmother is very strict) But his position in the family as the third son fits Kyoya, because he somehow has to outshine them

Keiichi Shimizu-(50% Mitsukini Haninozuka~ KYYAA! 50% Takashi Morinozuka) He's quiet, like Mori, but he looks like Hunny(He's not small though) and he is just so cute~

Well, I'm new to La Corda D'Oro, so what do I know? Please share your thoughts~

Hmmm... actually the only similarity I see is the reverse harem and romance. And that's about it really. La Corda is more about music, romance and magic and Ouran's more on school life the very typical shoujo, but with a more interesting plot. It's not everyday that I get to see the the "Princely"/idiotic character get a chance with the girl. It's usually the bad boy types. Nice insights though.

I think that those two manga are pretty different. The only things in common are the reverse harem, the fact that the heroine is poor and the bishies are rich and that's it. ._. Plus Kahoko is rather dumb and clumsy while Haruhi is clever.
